The8thDeadlySinParticipantA pretty boring trade…
Bucks get:
Primo Brezec
Royal Ivey76ers get:
Jodie Meeks
Fransisco Elson
2nd round pick0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/18/2010 - 7:27am #257708

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m sure there was a point to this trade… It’s just not very clear right now lol.
I still think Jodie Meeks could be a decent player though.

MagikKnickParticipantMeeks is a nice pickup for Sixers, he’ll develop into something worth keeping around one day….
With Salmons, Stackhouse, and Redd all on contracts, let Meeks go was easy

dmo21Participantthis is an odd one… jodie meeks might be the best player in this trade, but it really gives either team nothing much… a backup pg and a backup center for a backup sg and a backup center, plus a pick…
my only guess is that the bucks are getting a backup guard for jennings cause they are planning on trading ridnour??? thats just a guess

apb540ParticipantAs a sixers fan I am kind of embarrased by this trade lol my garbage for your garbage type of trade. Did get a 2nd out of it so that was nice but we need to make a major deal. Tmac would of been nice…

DanEboyParticipantThe Bucks are just a mess of a team right now. They have 2 players to build around in Bogut and Jennings but they have to convince those guys to stay. I lived there for a couple of years and the Bucks don’t even exist in that town. It is all Packers and Brewers. Marquette is a bigger draw up there.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI think the 76ers did good by not blowing up their team… I actually thought they were going to make the terrible mistake of giving up Andre Iguodala for a sec there.
If it wasn’t Brand or Dalembert being traded, I didn’t really think they needed to make any crazy trades.

JNixonParticipantMeeks does give us a shooter though. I don’t really think this has a big effect on anything though, so I’m alright with it

quinceyhodgesdidnt they get salmons?..i doubt they have much problem getting them to stay. players only have to live there during the season. and the bbucks arent that much of a mess seeing as they are young and fighting for a 8th seed. actually thats a much better spot then the twolves clippers, kings warriors, sixers, washington etc.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantMilwaukee got the best players in this deal
I feel Meeks could be someone to take a spot next season ( Most Likely Willie Green’s)

apb540ParticipantHe is the roadblock in the way of Meeks right now. I will turn around this 2nd plus Green to any team for ANY expiring.

JNixonParticipantJodie Meeks provides the exact same things as Willie Green anyway. He will probably take his spot though. Willie Green really isn’t as bad as most 76er fans make him out to be lol.

apb540ParticipantCmon man Willie Green is brutal. Stunts players growth, below average D, great 3rd quarter shooter but sucks any other time, and loves to kill rallies. Oh yea, forgot to add that I can’t count how many times he has fouled a jump shooter. Haha i really don’t like him but ironically he threw his jersey up in the crowd after their final playoff game last year and I was lucky enuff to be the one that catches it. Go figure lol

JNixonParticipantHe plays good defense for the most part I think, especially on the ball. He makes spot-up shots and can get hot scoring from time to time. He’s nothing more than a 4th or 5th option when he’s on the floor, but he’s not all that bad. He’s not worse than Jodie Meeks that’s for sure, and I don’t think Meeks will ever be better than him.

apb540ParticipantI just read that the Sixers were the ones that gave up the 2nd round pick…
