knicksfan7ParticipantHe is going to the bucks.

I think he is a good 2 guard for Brandon Jennings for the next year and a half, and then Milwaukee can get someone to replace Salmons in 2011.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantDoes anyone else feel bad for John here… I mean imagine this:
Coach: “Okay everyone. Pack up to head to the arena.. Remember guys, these Knicks are a scary team and we cant take them lightly”
Rose: “So Johnny, which shoes ya gonna wear tonight? We gonna be in a legendary arena again.”
Salmons: “IDK man.. Prolly the white ones.. I have played here alot. Its not that big of a deal..”
Coach: “Lets go guys!!!”
Rose/Salmons: “Damn Coach, We comin”
Coach: “Oh yea, John, you gotta say here.. Later.. Oh, were on channel 5.”
Salmons: “WTF?”

MagikKnickParticipantYou beat me to it, I think they’re ready to move on from the injury prone Michael Redd
And Salmons is better than Stackhouse, so there looking to make a playoff push by adding Salmons

MagikKnickParticipantLOL Yeah, getting traded while your team is playing a game must suck…but he must’ve known in advance since they did ask him to stay home…
On Channel 10 hes watching his team play the Knicks
During a commercial he flips to Channel 9, Headlines “John Salmons has been traded”

IndianaBasketballParticipantGood salary dump by the Bulls… This puts them in position to land a max deal free-agent.
The Bucks could use Salmons. I like this deal for them.

DanEboyParticipantI wouldn’t mind having that conversation as long as it ended with, ‘you still are getting your 7mil next year’

GoodbyeChandlerParticipanti think this trade foreshadws them getting mcgrady. them trading the closest thing they have to a 2 guard probably means that will get someone else, most likely mcgrady.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantGood call DanEboy

sheltwon3ParticipantSalmons should help the Bucks out a lot now and maybe they will think about moving Redd if they can. They need to plan of the future.

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantSalmons is one of those guys that will be play for a lot of different teams.

ctw724ParticipantAccording to 1250 sportsradio (sources) in Milwaukee:
The Salmons trade is being wrongly reported. Here are the new and hopefully correct parts.
To Bulls: Hakim Warrick and Joe Alexander
To Bucks: John Salmonshttp://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.php?tradeid=5479375
Now that makes more sense.
SIDE NOTE: It’s also being reported by sources from that radiostation that the Bucks are going to try and trade Luke Ridnour and Kurt Thomas to the Knicks for Al Harrington or the Pacers for Troy Murphy. That all sounds right and good to me.
The correct report should come out tomorrow.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantHmm.. Alexander will finally play an NBA game this year?? IDK, he would be stuck behind Taj Gibson, Luol Deng, maybe James Johnson, Hakim Warrick, and, unless they trade him, Ty Thomas.. Damn.. I wish he would do something to make people rethink their harsh, but correct, bust comments…

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe Bulls didn’t pull Thomas out of the game today anticipating a trade lol, so maybe he’ll stay with the team!
It seems like every player that got traded today got pulled because they were getting traded lol. Kevin Martin got pulled the first half tonight and he’ll be in Houston by tomorrow.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantHas anyone heard anything for sure about this trade?? I mean is it going to go down?? Who is involved?? I like what ctw reported..

JoeWolf1You would think that would mean Hinrich will stay a Bull.
