knicksfan7ParticipantWhat are the chances of the Knicks finding a way to get rid of Eddy Curry, is there any possibility of it happening???

MagikKnickParticipant0%
Ridiculous contract
Practically useless player…
&
Im sure if were desperate enough, we could find a trade aprtner, but not without giving up like 100 draft picks…kinda like the same way we got him…0- Posted on: Wed, 02/17/2010 - 3:08pm #257210
knicksfan7ParticipantYeah, ugh. He frustrates me so much, at least the possibility of getting rid of Jeffries is good. Realistically the chances of getting Lebron are nil, though I think the Knicks should be aggressive after Joe Johnson and possibly Chris Bosh if they decide to not retain David Lee.

knicksfreakParticipantThe Knicks could possibly get rid of Curry if they were willing to throw in Chandler and/or Gallo.

knicksfan7Participant“that they’ve traded Jeffries”
You saw something official that they traded away Jeffries???

IndianaBasketballParticipantIt’s not happening lol. Trading Curry this season isn’t as high as a priority as it once was now that they have a great chance to trade Jeffries… Keeping Curry isn’t so bad… They can use him as a trade chip next season. His expiring contract could fetch them a piece to help out whichever player they sign this summer.

IndianaBasketballParticipantMy bad… I meant, they have a great chance to trade Jeffries. I fixed that.

quinceyhodgesyeah the chances are 0 that anyone takes curry this year. next year he will be well sought after though

McWinningParticipantChances are pretty low unless they give up Gallo/Chandler especially considering he had surgery. Next year will be a great chance to trade him but hell still affect the free agent they get, unless he turns down 11$ mil to play more on a different team for way less.

knicksfan7ParticipantIf only the Knicks could say to Eddy please drop your option and we’ll sign you to a 1 year $5million deal if you drop your player option.

McWinningParticipantMaybe. remember he did work his way back from the injury and im sure really wants to play but he would never resign with the Knicks if it wasnt for the 11$ mil.
