0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 4:30pm #255603

JNixonParticipantYea Casspi gave him work.
Beasley and Tyreke Evans have been good. Brandon Jennings has made some good passes as expected and some bad ones.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 4:31pm #255604

MagikKnickParticipantYeah, Casspi got him good, thats the 2nd time Casspi dunked on Gallo this week, lol (they played tuesday)
I dont know if Jennings is trying to win or just be flashy, but hes failing at both
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 4:31pm #255605

llperezi’m thinking blair is gonna have a monster game. He seems to be one of the guys taking it a little more seriously.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 4:42pm #255606
quinceyhodgesjenning failing at what?
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 4:45pm #255608
quinceyhodgesi know one thing, these rookies are balling
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 4:53pm #255609
knicksfan7ParticipantI have noticed that this could be the first time ever, or in a very long time that the rookie team does not have the 1st or 2nd pick on the roster. Alos, that dunk by DeJuan Blair wooooooooooooooowwwwwwww
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 4:58pm #255611

adamsc14ParticipantDID YOU SEE THOSE 2 LAYUPS WOW.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 4:59pm #255612

adamsc14ParticipantDID YOU SEE THOSE 2 LAYUPS WOW.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:01pm #255613

MagikKnickParticipantlol, Blair is taking it the least seriously…nice dunk, but i dont know about that 3 lol
Rookies with the upset? Its looking likely…Evans is amazing
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:04pm #255614
knicksfan7ParticipantThe last time the Rookie team did not have the #1 and #2 picks on the roster was teh 2002 game, neither Kwame Brown or Tyson Chandler were on the rookie roster.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:11pm #255616
quinceyhodgeseruic gordan shouldnt be in the dunk contest
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:13pm #255617

butidonthavemoneyDunk Contest = LAME
I’d rather watch the skills challenge.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:13pm #255618

MagikKnickParticipantI like how DeRozan put in ZERO effort, and is still gonna win, lol
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:14pm #255619

IndianaBasketballParticipantI thought EJ did alright besides the misses… DeRozan wasn’t all that impressive to me considering the hype he gets… At least EJ tried to be entertaining.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:16pm #255620

llperezderozan’s second dunk was not impressive, But he should still win plus he can bring more to the table tomorrow
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:18pm #255622

llperezderozan said the other day he has a michael jackson tribute in mind for tommorrow with a Thriller dunk
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:20pm #255623
quinceyhodgesof course you will like eg cuz hes from youre state so thats understandable. but his dunks havnt made anyone double take. nor has derzon although i have a feeling he’s saving his dunks for the dunk contest
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:20pm #255624

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe better do something entertaining because he’s not the athlete that Shannon Brown and Gerald Wallace are.
I haven’t seen Shannon get as creative during games, but I think he’s going to do something crazy. I’m actually excited to see what he’s going to do.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:21pm #255625

JNixonParticipantDerozan was saving himself for tomorrow. Gordon should’ve been in the 3 point contest.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:24pm #255626

IndianaBasketballParticipantThere aren’t too many dunks that make people double take nowadays because 90% of them have already been done. Majority of people expected DeRozan to win, but EJ did better than people thought he would. Somebody on here said he couldn’t windmill… 60 to 40 isn’t that huge of a margin.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:24pm #255627
quinceyhodgesthe jennings evans back court is looking nice
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:25pm #255628
quinceyhodgeshis dunks werent impressive..neither were really but gordan is definatly not a dunk contest guy
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:26pm #255629

TheFactionCoalition.comParticipantGerald Wallace’s earings effect the color on anyone else’s TV?
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:27pm #255630

butidonthavemoneyEric Gordon can’t dunk. He is too short, and his vertical is like 25 inches. I’ve never seen him dunk and he will be exposed when this dunk-off or whatever happens.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:28pm #255631

IndianaBasketballParticipantLol… Yea I was thinking the same thing about Wallace’s earrings.
I don’t think Gordon is a dunk contest guy either, but I think it was coo he accepted the invite and went out there. People in Naptown were excited even though they knew DeRozan was the better dunker.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:28pm #255632
quinceyhodgesyeah me and my boys are sitting here in agreement about him not being a dunk contest guy and that he shouldnt have been in it. now we are argueing about the rookie game
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:34pm #255634
quinceyhodgesman jennings and evans have given work to eric gordan mayo abnd westbrook although westbrook has gone back at them. he seems to be the only guard with killer instincet. the rest seem passive
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:42pm #255637
joecheck88Participanti know its an all star game but tyreke evans is a monster. he has become one of my favorite under the rim players with brandon roy(I know these guys can dunk very well but when i say under the rim i mean they usually dont drive and throw it down ala lebron). both are amazing to watch handle the rock and just play basketball.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:50pm #255638
quinceyhodgesyeah him and jennings have been killing
evans so far 21pts 5stl 5ast 4reb
jennings 20 6ast 4st 4reb0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:51pm #255639

butidonthavemoneyBlair for MVP!
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:51pm #255640

IndianaBasketballParticipantWestbrook has 34
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:56pm #255641

TheFactionCoalition.comParticipantI put 350 on Evans winning MVP, westbrook def is the best player against “allstar defense.” Hopefully rookies win, Evans has a shot at MVP but Curry and Blair do to. They are playing very balanced. Harden and Jennings have been strong.
As I’m typing this Westbrook is looking ridiculous…0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:58pm #255642

JNixonParticipantBrandon Jennings was built to play in these kind of games…He’s explosive and flashy, so he always looks unbelievable in All-Star settings
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 5:58pm #255643
quinceyhodgesyea westbrook is a monster. i didnt know he was 8th in ast in the nba. thats what you want out of your pg. ability to score play d and pass. and this is only his second year as a soph
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 6:03pm #255644
quinceyhodgesim waiting for the people who said this is one of the weakest drafts ever during the summer to apologize
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 6:08pm #255645

IndianaBasketballParticipantIt takes longer than half of a season to judge a draft class lol. They look good though.
Blair for MVP. You still think Hansbrough is better Quincey?
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 6:11pm #255646
quinceyhodgesgo back and look…said tyler is playing better at that point which he was…thank you….now back to the game…DANEBOY is the only one who got it right. and yeah its only half a season but this class is clearly not one of the worst in nba history. jennings evans curry blake( even though he hasnt played) all can possible make one all star game one day
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 6:13pm #255647
quinceyhodgesWOW. dont get me wrong evans played well but blair was clearly then mvp…23 reb!!!! and only 3-4 points less that evans and 4 ast
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 6:14pm #255648
knicksfan7ParticipantTyreke Evans= Class Act to share it with DeJuan Blair.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 6:30pm #255656
Michael.S.ParticipantOn a side note…I love Flynn….Dude loves to win as much as anyone, he has soo much fun….Plus, he is really really really good.
I agree with Iggy on Jennings, well said man.
DAMN, Russ Westbrook muct have had a side bet with KD about the points record, he wasnt passing the ball for shat
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 6:32pm #255659

llperezwow i called it. Blair had a monster game.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 6:34pm #255660
quinceyhodgesyeah you did call it with blair…many watching the game i had visions of evans and jennings in the same back court
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 6:34pm #255661

MagikKnickParticipantYupp, much credit to you perez22, you called it in like the 1st 5 minutes of the game, good call
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 6:37pm #255665

IndianaBasketballParticipantGood call LP… He should’ve been the MVP… All everybody talked about was the soph’s size advantage… He obliterated them lol. The dunk off the backboard was nice too.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 6:54pm #255678

TheFactionCoalition.comParticipantI’d take a curry/evans backcourt over evans/jennings
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 6:58pm #255681
quinceyhodgesthats cool. ill still take jennings and evans and im sure some would take flynn and evans.. all different peoples preference
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 7:01pm #255683

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’d take a Curry/Evans backcourt too. Curry can play off the ball better than Jennings/Flynn and he’d space the floor for Evans to drive. They’d be a perfect backcourt.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/12/2010 - 7:50pm #255702

marcusfizer21ParticipantDeJuan Blair is a Monster!!!
It’s a shame to see the 2008 Draft Class who’s supposed to be one of the elite class fall over the 2009 Draft Class… Good win for the Rooks… I think Tyreke and DeJuan were hungrier than the rest of the 2008 Draft Class….
