llperezyeah, it’s between those two. Steph is way better then i thought he was gonna be. But reke is still in a good lead in my opinion. I just watched him put 30 on the spurs the other night while i was in sac and he has been getting it done all season

sheltwon3ParticipantWhat if the Knicks got Curry like they wanted. Golden State will not help him succeed like he could. That team is in disarray.

butidonthavemoneyCurry is in a bad situation, but he doesn’t let it affect his attitude and play. To me, that means even more than a triple-double.
I’d take him on my team any day.

Henry25ParticipantGod damn that’s a stat line. 36 points!!! 13 assists!!! 10 Rebounds!!! Where are all the people who said he would struggle in the league??? He is a flat out stud and this draft class is starting to look really really good

armancurry could be better than reke, if he is the leader of the warriors …. i think that tyreke is doing in kings same thing monta is doing in warriors…. if curry can get more shoots i would bet on him for ROY…..

lalailaParticipantTyreke Evans – Rookie of the year!!!enough said.
Curry could go 2nd that game was sick, at this point of season he is WAAAY better than Jennings, but look at GSW roster LOL someone need to do this to get win.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’ve been saying it all along… I think Curry is going to be a great point guard. A Steve Nash type guard… He’s not that fast or as quick as some of the elite point guards, but he has great timing. He picks and chooses his spots. A lot of people thought he’d struggle getting his shot off, but I’ve always said his quick release (just like his father’s) will benefit him.
Offensively I think he can be a 50% FG, 40% 3P and 90% FT guy just like Nash. His court vision is great and it’s only going to improve. Defensively, he’s UNDERRATED. He gave it to Baron Davis at both ends last night and even got in BD’s head… Took him completely out of his game.

IndianaBasketballParticipantYea, that’s correct. The Knicks AND Curry were stunned that GS took him lol. You could see it on Curry’s face somewhat when GS picked him.

rtbtParticipantTezo83, if memory serves me correctly, the Knicks were planning on taking Curry with the 8th selection and were stunned when he was taken by GS with the 7 choice in the draft. Do you remember if that’s true?

rtbtParticipantHmmm, wouldn’t it be interesting if he was the PG in NY instead of Duhon?

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe’d have had a real serious chance to win ROY if he got drafted to the Knicks…

knicksfan7ParticipantAthleticism is great, but Steph Curry has a great basketball IQ and even if he is not as athletic as other guards his basketball IQ makes up for it. Not everyone is a jaw-dropping athlete in the NBA, and you don’t need to be in order to succeed. If a player wants to have a long career they need a high basketball IQ because as they age athleticism starts to go through wear and tear. With that being said, I am very proud of the way Steph Curry played last night.

LawDeeZeeParticipantCurry is really starting to come on and he’s looking good, but I think unless something drastic happens, tyreke evans is pretty much assured rookie of the year … curry will definately finish ahead of jennings though

quinceyhodgeshell i think hes a above average athlete as a pg. there are very few jaw dropping athletes at that position. i dont know why everyone see’s rose and westbrook and think thats how most nba pg are. but yeah curry is balling just liek some of us said he would when people were low on him. with the way jennings is shooting curry could finish ahead of him unless jennings still gets the bucks to the playoffs without redd.. that is a big feat for a rookie. also butidonthavemoney i see what youre saying by not lettin git effect his play but most rookies who play on bad teams do the same thing. since they are at the low end of the spectrum they have no right to really speak up about there situation and they play hard because they have alot to prove

JNixonParticipantI think he can be like Mike Bibby in his Sacremento days
