JoeWolf1Is is bad I’m debating watching Baylor vs Nebraska instead? I know its a historic rivalry, and despite the fact I like neither team I always love to watch, I’m just don’t care this year. UNC will most likely have to win the ACC tourney to get into the NCAA tournament, unless they get mysteriously grandfathered in because of who they are. I’ve seen both teams play enough this year I’m not going to learn any more about their players or possible impact in the draft or late NCAA season. I hope it turns out to be a good game, because I’m only slightly less apathetic about the Baylor NU game.

JNixonParticipantI felt the same way at 1st, but I’ve seen UNC, Duke, Baylor and Nebraska play a bunch this year, and when in doubt I’ll watch the UNC-Duke game. This game is being played at a very frenetic and fast pace, so this should be entertaining.

quinceyhodgesthe more i watch unc pg’s the more i shake my head. drew impresses me less and less. and strickland doesnt look anything like a pg(which while im writing this the announcer says he’s a natural 2guard) he better leanr the pg position quickly because with the guys they have coming in he might not get alot of min

JoeWolf1Yeah, i mean a conference game on the road against your rival no matter how down they are isnt a gimmie. I’d like to see some more of John Henson, he had a pretty good game against VT and I haven’t seen much of him this year. From what I’ve seen his body has a ways to go before hes ready for the NBA, but im curious what kind of game he has, just had a nice block. Damn, they just showed Hansbrough, I’m changing back to Baylor NU

quinceyhodgeshenson could become one of those players who never quite gtes to where you think he should be. he could have good games during his career and then other games where you are wondering why he isnt better. i think hewill be good but i wouldnt be suprised if he never becomes as good as some people think he will be

JoeWolf1Yeah, i can see that too, he shows real signs of promise (like I’ve said I’ve only seen him a little bit) but it seems like he doesn’t have a real high motor.

JNixonParticipantHenson is too reliant on his length and athleticism. He’s got some intriguing raw skill on the perimeter, but he’s going to need a year or 2 to get where he needs to be.
Larry Drew is a quick player with nice handles, but he’s very limited at everything else. Never have really been sold on him, especially for a team like UNC.
Dexter Strickland isn’t a PG and he drives the line with his head down, but he’s got nice potential down the road. I think he can be effective running the UNC offense down the line. To me, he’s UNC’s most naturally gifted perimeter scorer.

Prospect21ParticipantI think Henson was misplayed this year. I think Roy wanted him to be a wing, now you know.
I hope Duke wins because…I’m a Duke guy. I believe we have a small shot at being a #1 seed still.

quinceyhodgeshe was played on the wing because hes not physical enough to play at the four. right now you just play him without thinking about position because hes not good enough right now to get alot of time at either position. i cant wait till my terps run up in duke

Prospect21ParticipantI am a Duke fan who’s confident about his team.
I think our team is very solid. We can win the ACC tourney, I still think were in the running for a #1 seed in the NCAA’s and if Miles Plumlee and Ryan Kelly can step up in the post a bit…we can be a elite eight type team

quinceyhodgesi dont see number one seed in dukes future. kansas kentucky cuse and vill most likely. it would take a couple of teamsd to really fall apart as well as ya’ll to win all youre games and the acc tournament to get a number one seed. i have confidence that my boys will beat the overrated( just about every year) blue devils

JoeWolf1I tuned back in when it was close at like 44-45 or something, not surprised on the outcome, but Jon Scheyer has very good mechanics and is a great shooter, but needs to work on getting more elevation on his jumpshot if he wants to make it in the NBA. I still think he could be a 2nd round pick or undrafted free agent, but he couldn’t have gotten half his long range jumpers off against a lot of pro defenders

quinceyhodgeswhich is why ill take my boy vasquez over him..hes a better pg scorer rebounder and has shown to shot damn near as well. saturdays game is the fight for first place
