I’ll happily take that as a Phoenix fan, a top pick, number 10 pick this year and a proven player in Dillon Brooks. I guess Houston looks to retain FVV now Green and Brooks have gone.

Phoenix likely targets a big with 10th pick possibly Newell, Queen if Maluach has gone but Denim, Essengue are other guys I’d like them to look at.

I knew something was up. Houston hasnt worked out any lottery prospects. Phoenix is picking Queen.

As a Suns fan could you elaborate on who you would like them to pick at 10? Its an interesting position to me considering its right after the Raptors pick.

what if they moved up or even back with their first round picks? They might not be done yet if they have a prospect in mind…

Thats a good point. I mean Maluach seems to be the target for most teams., Toronto, Atlanta, probably Phoenix too. I saw a report that Washington wants Queen the hometown kid. Does #10 and #28 get you a trade up to #6?

I’d have Maluach if he was there at 10 but I think he’ll not get past Raptors or probably picked before then. The Suns will have Booker, Green, Beal in the backcourt and then Dunn, Allen and Brooks as their main forwards so the biggest need is a Centre or a PF/C.

I think Queen is the likely pick, they may look at Sober, CMB. I don’t know if Essengue would be the right pick here despite being one of the best players who may still be available.

Phoenix need to still try to contend to keep Booker happy so will need to carry on playing all the luxury tax. They couldn’t take back FVV and just waive him to save a huge amount if Houston were willing to include him in the trade.

If I owned 6th pick I’d want more than 28th top drop down 4 spots. But as a Phoenix fan I’d happily take it.

The Suns should have got Reed Sheppard in this deal.

I think Demin is the best fit available for Phoenix. A tall pointguard that can see over the defense to set up all those shooting guards. This team has so many shooting guards its crazy. Green, Beal, Grayson, Booker, Brooks. Theres gotta be more trades coming.

Phoenix need a big unless they become some sort of Nellyball team. With the 28th pick there could well be one of the proven college bigs still on board or they take bigs with both 10th and 28th pick. Maybe look at Noa with 10th pick and then Kalk, Wolf, YKN or Raynaud with 28th pick as one or more of that quartet should be there still.

I think we got a good deal with what we got. A top pick, a proven NBA guy and a top 10 pick. I know it is KD but he turns 37 soon and you cannot guarantee how long he can play at the same level or how durable he will be. I’d have liked one of the bigs personally but I guess Brooks had to balance salaries.
