Miles Byrd vs. Drake Powell

If you want to win now then you go with Byrd… but if you can wait a year it’s probably equal… anything longer than a year would be no doubt Drake Powell. They’re both very stellar defenders. Byrd’s better now, Powell has better tools and athleticism. They both do similar things… in a vacuum I’d say Drake Powell’s slightly the better prospect in the long haul. He’s just slightly longer and more agile and athletic. He also improved throughout the year.

btw, Byrd is making me revise my mock… thought he was going to decide to run it back at San Diego State, but here we are!
