How good is Kyrie Ivring? Could he be the next Jay Williams? I see he’s top 10 in 2011

Also, how good could Duke be next season? Nolan Smith returns. Singler might return, Plumlee brothers another year older, Kelly returining, Potential Lotto pick Andre Dawkins back and Seth Curry (Who might start next season because he’s tearing up the practices) with

Kyrie Ivring, Tyler Thornton and Josh Hairston and maybe Terrance Ross

    What do you think?

The backcourt will be impressive………Im willing to bet Smith and Irving will start with Curry being the 6th man. Its also not out of the question that Singler returns to the 4 and Duke goes with a 3 guard backcourt, Singler at the 4 and one of the plumlee bros at center.

    Maybe:
    G- Irving
    G- Smith
    G- Curry
    F- Singler
    C-Plumlee

    Bench:
    Plumlee
    Kelly
    Hairston
    Dawkins
    Thornton
    *Hopefully Ross as well

There’s no solid starting SF option (I dont think Kelly or Hairston will be ready for it) and its important to have a big man coming off the bench so Singler should stay at the 4. Irving is ready to start right away and there is no way you can move Smith to the bench (he is simply 2 valuable) and Curry is also ready to start and play big minutes. Cant wait for no matter what!

With or Without Ross- I believe this Duke team could make the final 4.

Yea that roster looks like it could take Duke to the Final 4..It’s about time. They’d actually have size and one of the best backcourts in the nation.
