Why GSW does it – Ellis, Iggy, and Curry? That sounds incredible. Also Maggs is Ellis’ closest friend and if he left for someone not as good as him I think he’d go crazy and pull a Jack. Also this opens up cap space to resign Buike then we can draft Whiteside or Cousins who can eventually take over for Beans. Beans then can either be like Camby off the bench or traded.
Why Philly does it – They want to lose Sammy, they need an upgrade up front and seem to be shopping Iggy. They get Amare and Amundson which is an upgrade over Brand and Sammy and Amundson provides deph and allows them to play Young at the 3. Barbosa can come in and be a nice 6th man.
Why suns do it – Some people in Phoenix want to move Barbosa badly, they won’t get much for him so him with AMare is there best bet. They don’t have a great rebounder so Sammy helps them, Wright may eventually be there starting 4 and Maggs can come in and be that spark plug off the bench. Bell is cap relief and getting him back is more of a moral gain.
I got bored so made this, not perfect by any means but it’s okay

the I in winParticipantI think it’s good and all team get close to equal value but i think if the suns are to trade stoudemire they will start a youth movement so bringing in cory maggette’s and Dalembert’s contracts.

esperanzafleet69Participantall teams get close to equal value?…. philly gets amare, gs gets iggy… phoenix (one of the most cost concious teams in the league) gets the awful contracts of magette and dalembert? yes that value is incredibly equal…

B-ball fanParticipantGreat for GS, good for Phillly, bad for Phoenix. Iguodala would fit great in GS, and Amar’e would be good for Philly, but Phoenix always looks to save money.

SwatLakeCityParticipantI don’t see the suns giving up Barbosa. They like him too much coming off the bench. He brings instant offense which is very valuable come playoff time. Besides Bell was already with the suns before. Why would they agree to have him when they had him before and they did not want him then either. Other then that it looks good.

nateoak10ParticipantExpiring contract? Also the fans love him. Doesn’t have to do with him playing

the I in winParticipantesperanzafleet69 in talent it is close to equal, however like i said i don’t think phoenix would do it because they would try to do a youth movement which basically mean save money. I mentioned the bad contracts of maggette and dalembert, i was talking about equal talent.

esperanzafleet69Participantits not equal in talent either… dalembert wright and magette arent as good as JUST stoudemire or just iggy…
