pig nobsParticipantI’m a Georgetown fan and I love Jeff Green. But I hate that they make him play power forward in OKC. He would be so much better as the 3 and Durant at the 2. They should trade Thabo and some bench players for a decent power forward. I hope they fet lucky though and get Bosh! lol but seriously green will be able to drive easier because Durabt will be pulling the defence toward him slightly.

TyroberParticipantdurant playing the two guard didnt work out to well if you remember. you just dont put a 6’10 guy as a two guard. thabo just signed a very very cheap extension. he is a top defensive player and the thunder locked him up to a very good deal. green might be better as a 3 but he is doing just fine as the power forward. he is an ideal sixth man and if they can grab a few decent big men in this years draft he should move into the 6th man role and excel at it

JoeWolf1I think having Thabo is a great asset to that team. Like Tyrober said, he is a top defensive player and can match up with a lot of the top offensive players in the league better than Durant could if he were playing the two guard. In my opinion, OKC could use a top defensive power forward, with a 30 point scorer in Durant and compitent offensive players in Green and Westbrooke they don’t need a guy like Bosh who is going to put up 20 plus points per game. They could address their needs at pf in this draft (which is very deep at that position) without giving up a good defender in Thabo and have Green play powerforward next season, but with another pf on the roster he could play more small forward as well as giving them time at pf. Larry Sanders, Ed Davis, Pattrick Patterson could all be available when the pick and could fit that need down the road.

aarondsonixfanParticipantYeah, Green would be really good off the bench. I think that Serge Ibaka will sooner or later come into his own and be the starting PF. He is SO athletic, and could potentially be a really good rebounder and shot blocker. OKC needs a center, and I think that if they trade their 2 picks and move up in the draft, they could be a scary team. On the other hand, as of right now, Green is playing perfectly at the 4. Having your 4 play on the perimeter and give Durant a chance to penetrate and get to the line. He is hitting jumpers, dunking on people, and rebounding very well. But again, as like most of you do, I would rather him come off the bench.

the I in winParticipantI like jeff green but he needs to either work on his quickness or strength and get a true position. he can shoot and is faster than almost all PF’s but can’t play good post D.

JNixonParticipantJeff Green is the perfect player to make the 6th man, where his versatility would be better used for different line-ups and such. Thabo Sefolosha is the best perimeter defender in the NBA to me. He is a monster with his length, quickness, and athleticism. I think if they can get a true PF in the draft like Patrick Patterson they should bite or even a center like Dexter Pittman they should bite..
