    I can’t really think of another small forward who deserves to be in the ASG, so for me its between Monta Ellis,Aaron Brooks or Tyreke Evans. Ellis is having a breakout year for a struggling Golden State team, while Brooks whose Rockets are missing their two All Stars Mcgrady and Ming remain one of the top teams in the West, with Brooks as the catalyst. Last, you have rookie sensation Tyreke Evans whose team cooled off after a hot start, but Evans stayed hot. The last rookie I could remember averaging close to 20 5 5 by all start weekend was Lebron James and he didnt make the ASG. Even though Ellis team has the worst record I would love to see Monta Ellis be chosen to replace Carmelo

    of the three you listed i want to see tyreke evans, he is basically a shorter version of lebron that can’t jump. Every one knows he can’t shoot but he still gets into the paint whenever he wants.

    i agree. monte ellis would be fun to watch. he’s got the numbers to justify it and has some nice flash to his game.

    Im not so sure he is going to miss the ASG. I know he is still out and going to be out for a few more games but i havent heard for sure he was going to miss the ASG. If he does miss it, I think Aaron Brooks should be there. No disrespect to Monta ellis who is absolutely ballin, Aaron Brooks has a chance to be in the playoffs this year without the “so called” 2 best players. Monta is nowhere near the playoffs. I agree tyreke shouldnt go because of the exact thing you mentioned, Lebron had similar rookie numbers and didnt make it either. I just think that this year winning was rewarded for all star reserves and Aaron brooks has won more and has been more vital to the Rockets success.

    they will probably try to replace him with a small forward, rudy fits and his team is winning (sort of)
