What could the clippers get for camby? Would it be worth throwing away the potential big money for the summer of 2010?

I think the Clippers could get back something very valuable for Camby. Not only does he have an attractive expiring contract… He can still play. He’s still one of the best rebounders and defenders in the game.

If I’m Dunleavy… I’d dangle him to the Blazers. They could REALLY use Camby’s rebounding and shot blocking. Pritchard is stubborn with his young talent, but it’d be worth a shot. They have an overload of talent on the wing and the Clippers could use an upgrade at small forward.

all the championship caliber team will ask about him but none would want to give up anything more than expring and maybe a few of their late picks. Camby is probably going to stay a clipper for this season. He will be highly sought this offseason when all the hype of signing wade or lebron dies down.

I like the josh Howard one, but only if they could resign him for 8 mil or less a year. he would fit in great because he is solid mid range and doesnt need the ball to score like so many players in the NBA.

@cryan03: those are absolute crap proposals. howard has been terrible this year and is also a free agent this year. why would they want a lesser player for camby, that is also an expiring contract? The blazer won is terrible for the clippers – how do they benefit by doing that? The knicks one has to be a joke. Gallo is glorified by the knicks system and he still isn’t very good. And lastly, the bulls one is basically selfish players that under achieve for camby and ricky davis. the clippers are full of guys like that, they want effort guys that are young and talented not aging ball hogs that have bad contracts. The clippers will only trade him if they get a huge haul and those are not even close to a deal that would be acceptable to the clippers. try harder, much harder.
