ThaMatrixParticipantI cant believe Bosh is not starting for the East all-stars. Garnett has been injured most of the season, and Bosh is having an amazing campaign. Bosh is second in the league in double-doubles, and is averaging 24.3 PPG, 11.4 RPG, while Garnett has 15 PPG nd 7.3 RPG. I guess this is a popularity contest?

bobbybParticipantexactly, this game is a FANS game where the fans decide. Most people have lost site of that.

Champzilla21ParticipantOf course its a popularity contest! Where have you been for the past 10 years? Why do u think Tmac almost made it and Allen Iverson did? The ALL Star game is not preticually filled with the best players in the legue but a mix of the best and the most exciting popular ones. If the fans get to see who they want playing playing that only helps busnisess for the NBA

JNixonParticipantI never understood why Bosh got in over Garnett either. Bosh is killing Garnett at this stage of their respective careers.

M-DYMESParticipantWelcome to the NBA All-star game. A parallel universe where Allen Iverson is leading the MVP race, Kwame Brown was ROY, and the Clippers have won the past 5 championships.

sheltwon3ParticipantI think the problem is that the All Star game was made for fans but now sport people validate players success with how many All Star games played so now the purpose is between fans getting to see who they want and the best players that year getting in for the Basketball Portfolio.

Chicago1980ParticipantThe fans voted KG in, my opinion I dont think the fans should vote anyone in i understand that the NBA wants to let the fans be apart of the allstar game but come on allen iverson starting thats a joke and then T Mac almost being a starter I really think the NBA did something in order for Nash to becomethe western starter. Personnally I dont think nash should be starting I like CP3 and deron williams a lot better

joecheck88ParticipantI agree Chicago1980, Paul or Williams should be starting over Nash but better Nash than TMac. And I also think the NBA fixed it so that Nash would win out over TMac to avoid controversy. Atleast Allen Iverson has played most games this year. In a perfect world Rondo or Joe Johnson would be starting over Iverson. But you cant blame Iverson for the fans voting him in
