JK44ParticipantGrant was an okay role player in college, in Philadelphia, in OKC, in Denver. He was a bad go to selection in Detroit (lost a bit of his aggressivnes on defense and taking real bad shots, turning the ball over, had no position…..). He could be a usefull complementary Player in Portland if playing back to the roots. Detroit is filled at forward, so there is little use for an non fitting puzzle piece. Getting draft picks and money free is an A+.

OhCanada-ParticipantI’m assuming they used the CJ Mccollum $20 mil Trade Exception which would mean the potential OG Anunoby deal based around the 7th pick is off the table. Great move by Portland. They get a talent similar to Anunoby and keep the 7th overall pick.

r377ParticipantSo they lose cj mc collum, larry nance, norm powell and covington.
In return they get Josh Hart, Alexander Walker, Bledsoe, Winslow and now Jerami Grant.
So they basically went from a first round playoff team to……………………………………………..a first round playoff team
Milwaukee will be aging in a few years, this pick for the pistons could possibly turn out to be a lotto pick. Lillard will be older and Blazers will likely be in the lottery in a few years time
