NorrinRaddParticipantI think the Thunder try and move up, but Ousmane Dieng’s the pick.

OhCanada-ParticipantTari Eason.
OKC’s in a great position this year if they nail their picks. At 2 and 12 they can get two impact players and then 30 and 34 with the depth of this draft you know they could get another rotation player with upside. They can really solidify their frontcourt and with SGA, Giddey, and Dort already in the backcourt it could make it difficult for them to tank for Wembanyama,
For that reason I do see them going for a prospect like Dieng and wouldn’t even rule out Jalen Williams, Leonard Miller or even Dominick Barlow here. The other guy that nobody seems to be talking about is Zvonimir Ivisic. But I just see Tari Eason as too valuable. He projects as a guy that can come in immediately and do alot of what Herb Jones did last year for New Orleans and he has crazy upside. Your team can have as many as those 6’8/7’2 wingspan guys because in theory they are never out of position and the league is all about creating mismatches now.

NorrinRaddParticipantIt would be interesting to compare Sochan’s measurements against Eason’s…. Sochan didn’t even bother. They’re really similar players imo. Zvonimir Ivisic does have a nice stroke. I think he needs to get more agility though. He needs another year or 2. Of course, I don’t know much about him other than a workout. But he looked stiff in the workout. He’s young though. Anyways, eager to see one of your VS battles…

HitsterParticipantOKC have a decent young backcourt, they have drafted Chet potentially at 2 so that really rules out potential C’s although Williams would be worth looking at as the big bodied enforcer alongside Chet.
So it is SF/PF and Dieng and Eason seem to two popular choices. If they consider a stasher or longer term them Dieng may have more upside but I’ll play it safer and go for Eason.
