To me Cade Cunningham’s offensive game is pretty much everything Raptors fans wanted from Demar Derozan. He takes and makes his three’s, rebounds and defends at a high level along with that crazy triple threat oldschool Kobe/Jordan lite game. Cade’s gonna be nasty I think people aren’t hyping him up enough. Best prospect since Durant aside from Luka. Luka is probably the 2nd best prospect ever behind Lebron people just slept on him because hes from Europe smh.

A lot of my comparisons are different. I personally have worked with Evan Mobley and Johnny Juzang and I will tell you your comparisons are way off for them. Mobley is a Chris Bosh/Lamarcus Aldridge type and Johnny is more of a Kevin Martin/Duncan Robinson type.

As for other differences (I am just going off your top 30_.
    Cunningham- Ben Simmons
    Mobley- Chris Bosh/Lamarcus Aldridge
    Green- Clyde Drexler
    Suggs- Chauncy Billups
    Kuminga- Pascal Siakam
    Kispert- Joe Harris
    Keon Johnson- Kentavious Caldwell Pope
    Sengun- Domatas Sabonis
    Jalen Johnson- Aaron Gordon
    Giddey- Joel Ingles
    Mitchell- Jarrett Jack
    Hyland- Jordan Clarkson
    Jackson- Nicolaus Claxton
    Wagner- Mike Dunleavy Jr
    Kai Jones- Jaren Jackson Jr
    Springer- Joe Forte
    Donsumu- Jrue Holiday
    Juzang- Kevin Martin/Duncan Robinson
    Garuba- Kenneth Faried
    Zaire Williams- Josh Jackson
    Prkacin- Juan Hernangomez
    Jared Butler- Bryn Forbes
    Robinson Earl- Grant Williams
    Mann- Darius Garland
    Cam Thomas- Lou Williams
    Christopher- Wesley Matthews

Ok, I criticised this pages comp for Giddey, so I’m gonna tee off again. Giddey is a true point guard, so why the comp to a small forward? Is it because they’re around the same height and Australian? Youngest player to record a triple double in NBL history, breaking LaMelo Ball’s record from the previous season. He’s not as good a 3PT shooter as Ingles, but is a true primary playmaker and is a lot more athletic. He’s not an athletic freak, but he’s not in Ingles class either (thankfully). I see more Livingstone in him, although that’s not a perfect comp either. Kobyz comp was better, a taller, worse 3PT shooting Halliburton. The Ingles comp is just lazy IMO.

I do like your comparison for Mobley though. I’ve always seen the potential for a Bosh-like player in him.

I really hate comparisons……..To think that there are not going to be at least 1/3 of the draft being considered busts; out of the league after their rookie contracts, life time benchwarmers, and guys who end up in the g-league trying to get back to the league is ridiculous.

We really believe this first round is going to produce 3 hall of famers like Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, and James Harden. An all-time European great in Petrovic. 9 multiple time all-star players like Finley, Johnson, Arenas, DeRozan, Houston, Rice, Sprewell, Deng, and Porter. 6 current max, or near max, players like Harris, Hield, Brogdon, Siakam, Oladipo, and Russell. And all the other 11 are being compared to really good players that were starters on championship teams, 6th man of the year winners, on all defensive teams, etc.

I mean that would make this the greatest draft ever, by far!!!

To me if I’m making a “comparison” I’m thinking who can I get this prospect to emulate. What role can I have him fill and who has film playing that role. KJ Lawson probably isn’t the next Ray Allen but I’m gonna try to get him to develop into a similar player and aim for the moon.

Also Kobyz comparisons are kind of a running gag. Not sure how long you’ve been coming here but you just gotta let Koby do his thing. This way people get their yearly fix of Dale Ellis and Micheal Finley comparisons.

I always look at comparisons as similar style of play not that they will be as good as those guys.
