As much as I like Sengun, I think he’s similar to Bagley in some ways. They need a rim protector if they go big.

Jalen Johnson. Harrison Barnes won’t be their forever.

I think they might go with Kai Jones here. Versatile guy with a lot of untapped potential on offense and defense they could pair with bagley in the front court.

This one is really tough. I have a friend that’s a Kings fan. He wants defense so badly. Their guard spots are set. They need a defensive minded big and wing players. I don’t expect Bagley. I think the pick here is Franz Wagner. He’s young, got some potential, defense is already pretty good, can score a little bit. I take Wagner but I could see Keon Johnson here as well but he’s really small. (you can use this as a tiebreaker if you need it). I think Usman Garuba is another name to keep an eye on here.

Its definitely a tough one and to your point a great thing about this draft for teams that weren’t able to move into the top 4 🤣 is at 7-15 there may not really be a best player available. The talent is deep enough where teams may have 3 or 4 guys who they think are right there with each other talent wise which will allow them to select players that will help them as far as a fit goes.

As far as the Kings go I have them picking Johnson and sorting out the issues they have with Bagley. But don’t sleep on Garuba here either. Kind of surprised nobody has mentioned him. Defense has become a valuable commodity, just like shooting.
