    Van Gundy just fired after one year. Early candidates are: Jacque Vaughn, Ime Udoka, Charles Lee, Jason Kidd, Teresa Weatherspoon, Fred Vinson, David Vanterpool. I would go with Teresa Weatherspoon or David Vanterpool. They are said to be looking at a coach that is a players coach and is good at player development.

    the van gundy hire wasnt a great fit for that roster….i expect stephen adams to be move this summer..josh hart has already stated he wants out..i wonder will he change his mind after the van gundy news?

    I think a coach wanting to push the pace will get the job. I think Ime Udoka, if he wants it, gets it. but someone has to figure out this defense. Maybe even Wes Unseld Jr. gets a crack at it.

      I have Udoka getting the Celtics job, which I think he would take over Pelicans.

    Supposively in addition to being a players coach and player development guy they would like to hire a former NBA player and flank the hire with some experienced Euro League coaches to bring a more European style offense to team.

    Adrian Griffin has also been added to the early list of candidates, but I think this is sounding more and more like David Vanterpool’s job to lose yes he didn’t play in NBA but he has Euro League ties and is a great player development guy.
