Is he the rookie on Houston (not chase budinger)? If he is then yea he could be something down the road.

a role players whose primary role is simply to score the ball (an instant offense off the bench type of player. taylor has shown flashes of what he can do at the NBA level, he is an athletic wing man who can shoot the rock and those attributes usually translate into a scoring role. i find him to be very one dimensional (scoring) as he does not stand out in any other aspects.. he is undersized at 6-4, so that may present a problem on defense, as well as getting rebounds.. he is also an average passer.. although i find him to be pretty one dimensional i find nothing wrong in that. every team could use instant offense off the bench) i think due to his athleticism he has a chance to be an average defender but as now i think his best attribute is definately scoring the ball

he has the same height and wingspan as Dwyane Wade

and he’s very strong upper body and weighs about 207
    so he’s not undersized

his defense will improve with experience, plus I read he’s somewhat of a combo guard in the halfcourt
up to now he’s only played 17 minutes in the season (assigned to D-League )

he can be one of the league’s legitimate 2-way players,

    especially on the fast break

    he needs more playing time

I dont get how he is a “role” player

and you’re raving about Chase Budinger who’s shooting 40% from the field

I detect a LOT of bias

being a role player isn’t a negative thing. sure he wants to be a star but that is unrealistic for most players. He has talent and a realistic goal for him would be to average about 10 ppg and play good D.

first of all, you compared JERMAINE TAYLOR to DWYANE WADE…. really?? and second, do you even know what a “role player” is? being a role player is NOT a bad thing. in fact, everyone and anyone can be a “role” player. Lebrons role is to be the star and do everything. daniel gibsons role is to hit 3s. difference is one players role is bigger than the others. I like Taylor and think his role will be an off the bench, instant offense type of player, i think 10 ppg is a realistic goal for Taylor to attain.

I think he can be a really good player,
    he needs more experience,
if you saw one his games (the last b4 he was assigned to dleague) he had
7points in only 2 minutes, didnt miss a shot,
He was sent to get more playing time he wasnt getting any from the rockets
when chase was injured he played & when Trevor was injured he played.
Hes a great scorer, Very athletic, great dunker,
i think he needs to improve his Perimeter shot and his defense
He had a bad game, his last game at the d-league , but i think
at his best he can average 12ppg as a sixth man of the bench

ur wrong i just got back on the computer

Jermaine Taylor: I don’t really know. A lot of people say that I’m like Dwayne Wade. That’s probably because we are the same height and weight. But, he’s the guy that I watch the most. He’s my favorite player. Him, Kobe, and Lebron. I watch those guys and try to learn from them.
