How are everyones brackets holding up? Hopefully not completely scorched. I lost to Final Four picks really quickly with Texas and Illinois. Now that we have the Sweet 16 and have realized the glory of the Pac-12, does anyone want to predict how this thing will turn out? My brother and I decided to do a breakdown for Viseland this week, giving an update on how players have done and how we see this turning out.

What were some of your favorite games so far? What players have stood out? Will the world ever know why Max Abmas’ name is pronounced “Ace-mus”? We gave some of our picks, let us know either in the video comments or on here.

Also, appreciate any subscriptions, likes, comments, not to mention we are on a bunch of podcast platforms. Next week will be doing a Mock Draft, so stay tuned. Definitely will be changes from our Mock a couple months ago. Thank you to everyone who has supported, means a lot.

There’s been a lot of good games so far. Imo, the most fun one to watch might have been Krutwig and Loyola-Chicago just playing some ball against Illinois. That was an amazing game.

Going from what we know now as well as keeping the picks I already had (Gonzaga, FSU and Arkansas to Final Four), I’d go something like this after the Sweet Sixteen:
    Gonzaga
    USC
    FSU
    Alabama
    Baylor
    Arkansas
    Loyola
    Syracuse

Which will turn into a final four of:
    Gonzaga
    FSU
    Arkansas
    Loyola

And I’d say a final of Gonzaga over Arkansas

    A few thoughts:

    1. Amazing how year in and year out Syracuse seems to look like a mediocre team all season, barely sneaks into the tourney with a double digit seed and than manages to greatly outperform expectations. You can say what you want about boeheim, but he clearly seems to have this ncaa tournament thing figured out.
    2. The big ten was clearly viewed as the best conference by far this season, yet heading into the second weekend only Michigan remains. Meanwhile, the pac 12; which was viewed by far as the weakest of the power 5 conferences has someone gone 9-1 in the tourney and has four teams remaining.
    3. Gonzaga and Baylor are still in my estimation the 2 best teams in the country and have been throughout the year. Their first scheduled matchup was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID. This is the matchup I would like to see in the championship game.

My bracket was doing really good this year until Alabama lost who I had going to the Final Four. 5 of the 7 teams left that advanced I picked. I’ve also got USC beating Oregon.

Ok… this UCLA/Gonzaga game regardless of who wins is the game of the year right now!
