Now that it’s tournament time, hopefully we have seen some of the freshmen prospects between the season’s opener until now. I would be shocked if any of the following prospects opted to stay…

    Expecting to declare:

    Cade Cunningham G/F Oklahoma State
    Evan Mobley C USC
    Jalen Suggs G Gonzaga
    Scottie Barnes G/F Florida State
    Moses Moody SG/SF Arkansas
    Jalen Johnson F Duke
    Keon Johnson SG Tennessee
    Cameron Thomas SG LSU
    Isaiah Jackson PF/C Kentucky
    Sharife Cooper G Auburn

    Probably declaring:
    Jaden Springer SG Tennessee
    Bennedict Mathurin SG/SF Arizona

Now here is where I’m curious, should the prospect declare or not? What’s your opinions on the following prospects declaring for the draft?

    Joshua Christopher SG/SF Arizona State
    Marcus Bagley SG/SF Arizona State
    Ziaire Williams SG/SF Stanford
    Day’Ron Sharpe C UNC
    Caleb Love G UNC
    BJ Boston SG/SF Kentucky
    Terrence Clarke SG/SF Kentucky
    Brandon Newman SG/SF Purdue
    Jeremy Roach PG Duke
    DJ Steward PG Duke
    Moussa Cisse C Memphis
    Dawson Garcia C Marquette
    Earl Timberlake SG/SF Miami (FL)
    Johni Broome PF/C Morehead State
    Micah Peavy SF Texas Tech
    Efe Abogidi PF/C Washington State
    Zed Key PF Ohio State
    Adama Sonogo PF/C UConn

MY TAKE (tough calls) yes = declare no = stay in school

Joshua Christopher SG/SF Arizona State – yes
Marcus Bagley SG/SF Arizona State – no
Ziaire Williams SG/SF Stanford – no
    Day’Ron Sharpe C UNC – yes
Caleb Love G UNC – no
BJ Boston SG/SF Kentucky – yes
Terrence Clarke SG/SF Kentucky – yes
Brandon Newman SG/SF Purdue – yes
Jeremy Roach PG Duke – no
DJ Steward PG Duke – no
Moussa Cisse C Memphis – no
Dawson Garcia C Marquette – no
Earl Timberlake SG/SF Miami (FL) – no
Johni Broome PF/C Morehead State – yes
Micah Peavy SF Texas Tech – yes
Efe Abogidi PF/C Washington State – no
Zed Key PF Ohio State – no
Adama Sonogo PF/C UConn – no

1.zaire williams…despite the injuries he’s still is a lottery talent.. he should go.
    2.cam thomas..should go.
3.jaden springer reminds me of malcolm brogdon…i’ve seen him as high as 7 on some mocks….he’s a late lottery to mid 20s pick ,he should go…
3.greg brown…brown has regressed since his hot start early in the season…he will hear his name called on draft night maybe mid first to early 2nd round,he should go…
4.jaden ivey is another freshman that have a tough decision to make..right now with the depth of this year’s draft he’s a mid 2nd rounder..but if he returns could be top 20 next year..

I meant to put Greg Brown to declare, but Ivey should stay for sure imo. Ziaire Williams I have to strongly disagree about being a lottery talent though. He proved he can’t shoot on the college level yet. I think he will go down in mocks sooner than later, similar to that of BJ Boston, but unlike Boston Stanford doesn’t recruit like Kentucky does. Therefore I put Ziaire as a player who SHOULD return but probably won’t.

It’s a very good list. Isaiah Jackson and maybe add a couple more guys could be on their imo. Jackson will probably be a 1st round pick or even has an outside shot at cracking the lottery.
