gatorheelsParticipantOhio St. destroyed Minnesota today.
Talk about a balanced scoring attack:
Stats:
Lighty- 11 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals
Diebler- 19 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal
Turner- 19 points, 3 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals
Buford- 26 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists
Personally I think this team is starting to gel. Chemistry seems to be good & everybody knows their roles. Very unselfish team.
I think this team is flying under the radar a bit & is a serious threat to make it to the Final 4.
Their starting lineup is scary. Talk about some length & athleticism & versatility.
Turner 6-7, Buford 6-5, Diebler 6-6, Lighty 6-5, Lauderdale 6-8

Prospect21ParticipantI disagree.
I don’t think they can handle teams with big men like a Kentucky, Texas, North Carolina etc.
I think two Final Four sleepers are Kansas State and West Virgina.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantNot with those bigs they won’t. If the #1 seeds end up being Kansas, Kentucky, Texas, and Syracuse I do not see them having the size to guard any of them inside.

JNixonParticipantThey may be a threat to make it out of the 1st week of the tourny, but I see them losing in the 2nd round or at best Sweet 16. I don’t like their lack of post scorers and the fact that they only have Turner who’s a threat to create his own shots (and everyone else’s).

lalailaParticipantmaybe not final 4 but Evan Turner should be POY

gatorheelsParticipantPeople said the same thing about Villanova last season (not having enough size in the post).
Ohio St. only lost by 4 to North Carolina earlier in the season. Ohio St. beat Florida St. already this year. Many coaches think FSU has the best frontcourt in the ACC. I don’t see size being that big of an issue.
Ohio St. has only lost 3 games all season when Evan Turner has played.

Prospect21ParticipantBut Villanova had
A) Weak #1 and #2 seeds in the bracket
B) Dante Cunningham
