After focusing on 10 NCAA players to know for the 2021 NBA Draft cycle last week for Viseland, we decided to talk about 10 more this week. Including Moses Moody, Keon Johnson and Keyontae Johnson, we breakdown some more prospects to keep an eye on in these next couple draft cycles. These three guys listed as the subject all check quite a few boxes as complimentary wings, play great defense and have shooting potential.

Moody was last measured as having a 7’0 wingspan and 8’8 standing reach when trying out for the USA U17 team in 2018, and while Arkansas has not played top competition yet, he has had some standout performances. Keon Johnson was one of the standouts of the 2019 USA October Minicamp, with fantastic vertical, lateral and straight line athleticism. He didn’t start in his first game for Tennessee, but played excellent on-ball defense, albeit with having 5 turnovers himself. Still, early sample size did show some things to be excited about, and he is a rare athlete.

Keyontae Johnson seems to be in the running as one of the top returning players, and is a favorite of mine. He has legit wing size, at 230 lbs with a 6’11 wingspan, with vertical pop and spot-up shooting ability he has shown consistently at Florida, albeit on a smaller sample size. While his playmaking and on-ball skills are not a strength, he could fit a 3-and-D mould around an established primary ball handler at the next level.

Have appreciated any who has checked it out, liked, subscribed or commented. Want to thank the folks who commented on my post last week. We still have not touched on the guys who were invited to the Nike Hoop Summit USA team, who we covered in a past episode before the season, featuring some early top prospects such as Cade Cunningham, Evan Mobley, Jalen Suggs, Jalen Green, Ziaire Williams and Scottie Barnes.

Last week we touched on Jalen Johnson Brandon Boston Jr., Terrence Clarke, Greg Brown, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Trayce Jackson-Davis, Luka Garza, Jason Preston, Marcus Bagley and Ayo Dosunmu. We have a list of who we focused on this week, with the three players in the subject and seven others. Anyone else who has stood out, or who has maybe disappointed and changed your perception? Anyone have an early top 10 prospects they are willing to drop? Feel free to do so!

I do also, really worried after what happened. Hoping for good news regarding his health, but his being rushed to the hospital in critical but stable condition is really scary.

I did not realize Keyontae was in a medically induced coma. Best wishes to his health.
