HitsterParticipantWith Deni Avidja having slipped to 9th on this site’s mock. Does anyone else see a team looking to trade up and try and grab him if he is in that sort of ballpark area on draft night. The likes of Popps and Burford at Spurs, Ainge at Boston, Nelson at Dallas are the sort of people I could see looking to nab a talent like that if he was within their range. All are in positions in the draft and likely have the assets to do so?

armchairgmParticipantI think he goes to the Cavs at 5 I don’t see him slipping like this mock has him.

nbarelliParticipantI agree that Cleveland looks like the fit. I have not heard a rumour but I was thinking though whether this Hayward delay in accepting 34+mil and Drummond only opting in today was tied together i.e. Hayward for Drummond trade?
I don’t think it’s a bad idea, and I would think the Cavs would then take Okongwu instead if available.0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/17/2020 - 3:54am #1243321

OhCanada-ParticipantHe wont slip to 9th. I think Aran may struggle a bit this year with all the doors being closed.

HitsterParticipantI’m surprised to see him 9th but if he did slip out of top 5 then I could see teams aggressively looking to move up. A lot could depend on what the Knicks do as they might look to throw 8th and 27th together to get up a spot or two. NOP have 13th and 24th plus loads of other picks due so could easily trade into the top 10.
