absolutely agree… i think they can be similar to the piston from the 04( they had 5 good player in lineup) but just more athletic and they have a superstar…. in 3 years they can be title conteders if they stay with the same team …

The Thunder are one rebounding/defending C away from reaking havoc in the NBA. DeMarcus Cousins or Cole Aldrich could be very beneficial foe this team.

they are in a great position for the future. They have young talent and no bad contracts. But they aren’t gonna be drafting too high, so unless they get a steal in the draft or they sign someone in free agency, they will have to find a way to get a good big man. Irbaka and Mullens are huge question marks, so they might need a better big to contend for a title. But they are on the right pace and are already competing for playoff spots.

They’ve got 2 picks that’ll probably be in 16-12 range, hopefully they can move up to take the bigman they want.

Bosh would sign in OKC because its near home (dallas) and you get to play with Durant should end up batting LeBron for MVP’s the next ten years.

Well, I dont think its time to trade Bosh yet.

If htey trade Bosh, all that momentum leaves..

They are the 5th seed in the East right now, and They seriously look like a team that can knock of a top seed this year.
If they do well in the playoffs, Bosh will likely stay, if htey dont, he’ll go.
But you must keep Bosh right now if you want to compete.

But if OKC get Monroe, Motiejunas, or Cousins, they are set.

i agree, but i really think the Jeff Green would be better as a sixth man or as trade bait. I like him but he isn’t a very good power forward. I dont want them to trade for Bosh though, because i think that would disrupt some chemistry. Bosh will demand the ball and will want to be the franchise player when that already belongs to Durant. My opinion is that if OKC makes the playoffs then they should trade Jeff Green and a 1st round pick to move into the top7 of the 2010 draft and select the big man that they need (Aldrich, Cousins, Favors, Davis).

I agree, Jeff Green isn’t a very good PF, better as backup to Durant. Speaking as a fan, I would love to have him stay, but if trading him means getting a PF/C that can play up and down like Bosh or drafting a dominant bigman like Cousins (Again, speaking as a fan 😛 Little biased), Monroe, or Davis, then I’m up for it. I can’t wait to see the battles the Grizz, Thunder, and Blazers will be having in the future

I’m not sure Bosh is a kind of guy they need. A lot of his value comes from his scoring, which they already get from Durant, Westbrook, and probably soon to be Harden. He’s a good rebounder, which they need, but their biggest weakness is their interior defense, which he doesn’t bring much. With the inevitability that he would have to receive a max contract it seems kind of a poor decision for OKC to retain him for him to pull down 10 boards, take 12 shots and be a soft defender, especially since they’ll be resigning Durant and Westbrook soon…in a small market, I’m not sure that’s realistic.

What they need is just a solid 10-10-2 guy who can play tough D and be a good role player on offense.

we shall see. i do recall everyone saying portland was the future of the nba. then before that it was the bulls. seems like every couple of years people say that but it doesnt seem to pan out so i think ill hold off on crowning them just yet. especially since teams trade and pick up free agents plus certain draft picks
