    I am wondering what sort of info you use to build who owns what with regard to picks (especially the spongy 2nd round pick trades)? I think the prosportstransactions.com site is quite extensive with regard to what they post, but even they admit uncertainty with regard to when some picks are being sent to other teams.

    it all has to do with guarentees of picks…. you would have to use some sort of formula like

    if wins = < 50 then this team gets a pick… a lot of teams do that

    like the 2003 draft detroit used memphis pick to get darko at 2 but if the pick would have been the number 1 pick then memphis would have still kept it..
