With the execption of Zach Randolph, these teams are pretty evenly matched. But who is better? And i’m not asking who’s playing better.

i think memphis is better. Better inside play and they don’t rely on one guy as much as thunder do.

I think the Thunder are better potentially, they have real good future, while Memphis is better right now.
I’m a completly bias OKC fan

    PG westbrook > conley
SG sefalosa Gay…. Gay is very good and very close though
PF Green < Z Bo…. Green has a higher ceiling but randolph is a monster right now
Kristic/Ibaka < Gasol…. Gasol should win most improved, he keeps the ball on high rebounds and put backs just like his bro

Bench… Both are pretty thin, Harden, Maynor, Ibaka/Collison is a pretty average bench, and Young, Carrol, Tinsley, and Thabeet is nothing to write home about…

If you look at match ups i like Durant, Green, and Westbrook. James Harden is going to be a total stud too. I think the thunder could make some noise in the playoffs this year. And down the road look for BJ Mullens to be a very solid center for this young thunder squad.

A week ago, I thought OKC was the better team. Now, I’m leaning towards Memphis because of the front court play of Randolph and Gasol. Memphis is playing very well and looks like a legit playoff team. I think these two teams will battle each other for the 7th and 8th playoff spot for the rest of the season.

My biggest concern about Memphis is whether their owner is committed to keeping their current team together…He’s going to have to shell out some coin for Gay, then Zbo and Gasol next summer.
