Jerome James -$6,600,000 (1 Year, no option)
Brad Miller – $12,250,000 (1 Year, no option)
John Salmons – $6,429,150 (2 years, no option)for
Tracy McGrady -$22,843,124 (1 Year, no option)Good trade, If Tmac doesnt resign next season with bulls, they got 23 mill to splurge on good players
and for houston, Brad miller is a reliable center for 1 year, untill his contract is up, john salmons is a good shooting gaurd, and if it doesnt work out in free agency, they still have john salmons, and Jerome james is just a filler….0 - Posted on: Wed, 01/27/2010 - 12:39am #251077
JordanC20ParticipantI don’t think the rockets would settle for that….but they might just to get rid of him.

TyroberParticipantthats a horrible trade for the rockets. why on earth would they trade him for more expiring contacts and then john salmons? his huge expiring contract will be able to land some good talent from a lot of teams looking for cap space

llperezyeah makes no sense for the rockets. This trade basically means less money this offseason and salmons who is not exactly worth losing a bunch of cap space for.

jazzydParticipantsalmons is only worth about .6.6 mill
its nothin, plus the rockets have jerome james and brad millers expieing contracts to work on the offseason0 - Posted on: Wed, 01/27/2010 - 8:33am #251120

llperezwell 6.6 million could go a ways in the off season. You tack that on to millers and james expiring deals and that could be the difference between getting a superstat or a really good player. I’m not sure salmons would be worth it. Not a terrible trade, just think houston would be better off with more money this summer.

lowryfoyerayParticipantI can’t tell if teams want tmac the player in all of this. Do you think he’d get big minutes for a contender?

jazzydParticipantits not like houston is gonna get lebron james or someone big
but having money, staying under the luxury tax and then houston can put it towards carl landrys conrtact or other names
they will have about 20 mill to work with in offseason, while chicago has about 27 mill if they dont resign tmac or their other players.
it works out for both teams for stayin under the luxury tax next year0 - AuthorPosts
