R-Dot-13ParticipantAm i the only one that thinks this guy has unlimited potential?
I personally think he needs to play more on this Dallas team.In 24 minutes today he had 13 points, 5 assists, 6 rebounds, 3 steals.
He also hit 3 threes
He has a solid game, but he hasnt had any chance to show it.
He played well when he started, but even them he didnt play as much as he could.
I think he is a future all star pg for the mavs and coud have been in ROY contention if he got the PT this year on a different team.I think he could be a star, what does everyone else think?
Will he start when Kidd retires?
Will he reach his potential?0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/24/2010 - 11:39am #250434
Clyde-Glide10I think at best: He’s a good starter. Maybe a 11ppg, 4rpg, 5apg guy
He will start and he will reach his potential

R-Dot-13Participantthats all you think he can be?
I think he could be a 16-20 ppg 5-8 apg kind of guy and be a lock down defender.
He has all the athletic tools someone could ask for in a PG0 - Posted on: Sun, 01/24/2010 - 11:43am #250441
Clyde-Glide10I don’t know because to be honest, I don’t see that ” Star” potential in him.
He’s look impressive I’ll say that but not a Star

R-Dot-13ParticipantI think he can be at least a Tony Parker type player in the future, but a better defender.

JNixonParticipantHe can put up similar stats to Tony Parker (about 18/19 ppg and 5 or 6 assists). He’s the Mavs PG of the future, even though he isn’t a real good playmaker right now. He’s more a SG in a PG body…He should have maybe 2 All-Star caliber years if everything goes right for him. I like Beaubois’ game, he just needs to work on his D and playmaking and he’ll be well on his way..He’s got plenty of physical gifts to get it done though

armanhe can be starter and maybe all star one year if mavs decide to keep him to be their starter pg after kid retires but there is also jj barea who proved that can be decent player right now so i dont really know….. i think that in which team he ends up can affect alot on his future and career

R-Dot-13ParticipantI like his game way more than Barea.

nateoak10ParticipantI can see the future…he will either be the new Ellis or the new Ford

JNixonParticipantYea they knew that Barea isn’t a PG of the future..He’s probably on the way out as it is via trade.

Da1potParticipantBarea is just a spark off the bench… This kid Beaubois is the real deal. I might get hated on for this, but when it is all said and done, he might very well be the best point guard in this loaded point guard class. He has a very nice jumper from the outside unlike Rondo and Parker and will be able to keep defenses more honest that way.
