I have seen this guy play a couple times, and he can flat out play. I like finally seeing his name in a mock draft for 2010, though he is a junior so I see him staying his senior year and being a sure first rounder. I mean I don’t why this guy doesn’t get talked about more though he plays for a shitty team it is still Big East Basketball. What do you guys think about him??

to me he’s a lot like aubrey coleman, rodney green, etc. guys that play for below average teams but really fill up the basket…he reminds me a lot of marcus thornton from LSU last season..i mean he’s a 6’4” shooting guard but a lot of the time guys that score 20 ppg in college can really flat out score in the NBA regardless if “their game translates to the nba”

He’s one of the top 2-3 scorers in the college game IMO…He a very strong slasher with a decent shot and despite playing for a poor team, he shoots relatively good percentages, which is always a plus in the NBA scouts’ eyes. I’ve been touting him on this site for a while, good to see him getting attention.

Wow…Dominique Jones scored 46 points tonight against Providence.  He put a hurting on Providence.

Yes he did. I really think him being the #1 option on a bad team will prep him well for the NBA off the bench simply because he knows how to score. I find it funny how I brought up his name today, and he drops 46 a few hours later.
