OldSkoolBasketballParticipantLook what he did to the bobcats. I know he probably won’t win it even if the bobcats keep playing the way they are and make the playoffs but he should be a top 5 candidate along with the others that are being talk about right now.

DeLaQuestParticipantA Charlottean here. Brown absolutely should be a candidate.
He has turned Gerald Wallace into something special. Trust me, Gerald is playing so much wiser with Brown around. For one thing, he has learned how to draw fouls and get the easier points at the line in situations where he doesn’t have a makable shot.
Also, Larry is coaching so-called “bad boy” Stephen Jackson to tremendous success. There have been no apparent problems with “Jack”.
Also, Larry Brown has taught Raymond Felton how to be an NBA PG where others have failed. Sure, getting the right personnel here has helped Raymond too, but Brown deserves coaching credit. And Brown was likely behind the moves to get those players in here anyway.
The Bobcats’ defense is amazing. Their full-court press bothers NBA teams and disrupts their offense. That’s great coaching.

the I in winParticipantHe turned them into a great defensive team and gerald wallace has emerged as an allstar. felton has come on as of late and jackson is doing what he does. they aren’t a contender by any strech but they are absolutaly playoff bound and nobody is going to want to play them.

DeLaQuestParticipantWhat did Beasley say? It wasn’t really a big deal, but kind of humorous how it turned out:
