WhyParticipantChad Ford stock watch says this on Charles Garcia:
http://insider.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?entryID=4838760&name=nba_draft
“Garcia was the “it” sleeper name in late November. But armed with scouting reports from a number of different NBA scouts who’ve seen him play, it’s safe to say his 15 minutes of fame may be coming to an end. I’ve yet to talk to an NBA executive who has Garcia ranked in the first round right now. Much of that has to do with background concerns. But some of it has to do with play. In games against Oakland, Oregon State and most recently against Utah Valley University, he’s looked nothing like a star. While Garcia is still on the NBA radar, he’s no longer a serious first-round prospect. He’ll need an amazing performance in the Chicago pre-draft camp and individual workouts to get back there.”
Thoughts on this? Has Garcia become alittle overrated due to his underrated status?
How do you guys also feel about Scotty Hopson, Iman Shumpert and Scottie Reynolds?
I don’t feel any will do much in the pro’s besides maybe Shumpert. But I’ve seen the least of him. I like Hopson alot but he doesn’t seem like he cares enough to put it all together. I could be wrong though.

sheltwon3ParticipantScottie Reynolds looks to be bring his stock up but i will try to watch more of him because have not watched a whole game and focused on him and heard earlier that he was more combo than point but maybe that will not hurt him.

WhyParticipantI’m not too high on Scottie Reynolds. He could be a good energy guy off the bench I bet who could initiate offense for short amounts of time.
I found that paragraph on Garcia to be interesting. I don’t watch Seattle U games though so maybe someone who does knew this before.
I’m interested if there are any Tennessee fans and what they think of Hopson though. He seems to have all the tools necessary. Except handles maybe.

TRC1991Participantscottie reynolds = earl watson with better scoring
and i will have to disagree with chad ford, garcia is 6’10” with way better post moves and a higher ceiling than luke babbitt, larry sanders, and craig brackins, all of which are considered 1st round picks this year
