Pistol Pete. The PelicanParticipantThe Bulls first championship 1990-1991, if the Lakers team would have been fully healthy(i.e. byron scott and james worhty), would the bulls have won that championship?

IndianaBasketballParticipantYES. Putting Scottie Pippen on Magic Johnson was what changed the series.
I just don’t see how they could’ve stopped Michael Jordan.

llperezyes, the bulls were the better more athletic team. I think they win regardless, but Worthy at full strength would have made it more interesting.

RICO 1981ParticipantYup, the Bulls were the better team that year, and the year after, and so on. That was the first NBA Finals I ever seen, it hooked me to B-ball. Tezo83 was right, putting the bigger pippen on magic slowed the lake show down, and let Jordan be a scorer. Which I hope is the same effect that Ron Ron has with Kobe in the playoffs this year.

IndianaBasketballParticipantJust to think… Mike Dunleavy was coaching the Lakers at the time. What happened to him? How did he fall this low lol?
