Anton123ParticipantWho do you think will participate in this years dunk contest?
I’d like to see something new (not like last year when it was three dunkers, who have already participated and the worst dunker the voters could choose)
Something like
Shannon Brown (deserves it)
LeBron James (announced it)
Iggy (he deserved a win, must come with revenge)
Westbrook, Alexander, DeRozan? Alexander is injured, so I guess it’s more to Westbrook or DeRozan, I’d go with Westbrook0 - Posted on: Sun, 11/29/2009 - 6:01am #234104

JNixonParticipantI want to see:
Iguodala
Lebron
Shannon Brown
Will Bynum0 - Posted on: Sun, 11/29/2009 - 7:44am #234122

RickyRubio9ParticipantLeBron
Shannon
Rudy
Fan Pick, Josh Smith again?0 - Posted on: Sun, 11/29/2009 - 7:49am #234127

Anton123ParticipantIMO Iggy will do something more interesting than Josh + Josh has already won it

RICO 1981ParticipantLebron
Shannon Brown
DeRozan
Josh Smith
That would be crazy.0 - Posted on: Sun, 11/29/2009 - 10:01am #234135
whiteflashParticipantLebron and Westbrook are alike in that they’re both really athletic but not contest dunkers. We’ve basically seen everything they’re capable of in games. Rudy Gay’s a lot like that as well.
I’d like to see James White [call up!]
Joe Alexander [he can do some serious things]
A good little dunker [Lou Williams, Will Bynum, Mike Taylor, Brandon Jennings, Jerryd Bayless, etc…]
The last spot would probably be Shannon Brown. He kicked Lebron’s a$$ in the McD’s contest but lost due to politics. I’d also like to see JR Smith get an honest shot ’cause he can do some really nice dunks, a few of which we’ve never seen on the NBA stage. Iggy can do some nice dunks as well. DeRozan would put on a good show too. There’s alot of good dunkers out there. I’ll say that if Lebron enters everyone else might as well stay home, ’cause the league’s gonna give him the ‘W’ no matter what.

pistonsmanParticipantIf Will Bynum were in the dunk contest that would be awesome I would say he would win.

WälseParticipanti wish someone in the NBA would sign James White (if he’s not already signed) so he could get in the contest. he’s the one dunker who if he makes all his dunks cannot be beat. you gotta be kidding with the windmill and threw the legs from the free throw line…

The8thDeadlySinParticipantAlexander is hurt all the time?? I think this is his first serious injury. Its a torn hamstring so it pretty serious. What else has he ever had besides a rolled ankle or something.
Shannon Brown is one of the craziest jumpers in the league.
Lebron James, duh!
Dwayne Wade because he would rival Lebron in a popularity contest.
Derrick Rose if he is healthy.
Russel Westbrook because he should have been into it last year.
Josh Smith because sometimes when he jumps, Im worried that he may never come back down.0 - Posted on: Mon, 11/30/2009 - 3:14am #234347
SlimParticipantChamp wants LeBron to dunk
We’re months away from All-Star Weekend and Nate Robinson and Shannon Brown are already eyeing a showdown with LeBron James in the dunk contest, so says Bob Finnan of the News-Herald: “Nate Robinson wants a piece of LeBron James. So does Shannon Brown. Both high-fliers want James to compete in the dunk contest during All-Star Weekend in February. And, obviously, they want to beat him.Robinson, the New York Knicks’ 5-foot-9 guard, is willing to defend his dunk title if James elects to compete. “If LeBron is in it, I am,” he told AOL Fanhouse. “If he’s in it, I’m in it. But if he’s not in it, I might not be in it.”
James has never participated in the dunk contest. However, last February, he hinted this might be the year he finally competes. Robinson hopes it’s true. “Like I said, if LeBron is in, it’s going to be that much better,” he said. “If I’m in it and make it to the finals, (I’ll) beat him. That’s something I can always tell my kids.”
