McWinningParticipantthat signing Andre Miller was a bad idea what they need is a defensive point guard not a scoring pg Roy needs the ball in his hands and they need to develop the young players into scorers Fernandez, Oden, Bayless hes slowing down their progress and so far he hasn’t done much i wouldn’t have signed him.

Lemons4LifeParticipantThey should’ve traded for Sessions or even Conley and see if he can develop there. Memphis would probably want someone ok for Conley which I don’t see happening. Right now though Blake’s doing pretty good.

RUDEBOYI dont think Miller is their problem..If you watch any of their games..You’ll notice how much Miller is trying to get Oden more involved in plays..The problems is Coach Nate hasnt changed their plays from last season..If any of u ever played organize ball..Teams learn to adjust their defenses after viewing tapes of your set plays…Portland will be fine..It’s still early in the season…Better to struggle now and find out whut u have to work on..

McWinningParticipanti know but i think right now he still demanding shots and those should be going to the younger guys their record is worse than last years and he is trying to get the ball to him some but this is hurting bayless too he has so much potential and he doesn’t play much. also Miller isn’t a great defender i just think Roy is their playmaker and scorer they should develop the guys around him they didn’t need Miller.

gatorheelsParticipantMiller has had kind of a down season but a lot of that is due to team chemistry which will only get better. Plus Miller has to learn the offense which also takes time. He is an upgrade over Steve Blake. Once playoff time rolls around I believe Portland will be happy to have a veteran like Miller on the team.

thetruthParticipantandre miller will pick it up late in the season. but this goes back to what i been saying. they have to trade one of the ppg along with outlaw to get a big man or a small forward.

onn1320ParticipantMiller a scoring PG? – True he has more of an offensive side than a defensive side, but he’s not that much of a scorer. – He is in fact a pure PG (floor general)
I think the real problem is the loyalty to Steve Blake. – You don’t sign an Andre Miller and make him play with or behind Steve Blake.

apb540ParticipantHahaha as a Sixers fan I was soo glad to see the most overrated PG in the nba leave town. Nobody stagnates an offense like Andre Miller does! The biggest problem with him is that he allows the defense to sag and roam because he is an absolutley awful jumpshooter. This clogs up the lane and allows the defense to constantly double team.

gatorheelsParticipantSo why are the 76ers 5-11 this season?

JNixonParticipantI can’t exactly say I’m happy as a 76er fan that he’s left…actually I’m to the contrary of that lol.

apb540Participantwould be no different with him, maybe 6-10 lol. our problem is not having a number 1 scoring option.
