itsOvaParticipanthe can score with the best of them.
but until he can consistently run a team’s offense, or decent at defense
he is not going to be an all-star
unless the 76ers is winning like crazy0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/25/2009 - 10:15am #233053

whiteflashParticipantHe’d be much better playing off the ball alongside a big pg. Sh!t, you could even have Iggy bring it up as a point forward. The point is he’s a scorer, not a distributor and if given the green light and the go-ahead to focus on puting the ball in the hole he’d be a 20ppg guy, easily. On D have the big pg guard the 2’s and switch Williams over. I’ve always really liked his game. He’s an athletic freak, handles the ball well and can hit the deep ball. I’d also like to see him in the dunk contest, but that’s another topic for another day, haha. Anyway, the kid has game but he’s got a lot of growing to do if he wants to make any All-Star squads.

quincey hodgesyeah he could be that scorer but him scoring that wouldnt equal wins and he wouldnt score like that on a winning team because there would be other players on the team who are better

whiteflashParticipantI don’t think he’s ready to be the first option on anyone’s squad, but he could be a killer second option as a small, athletic 2.He has All-Star talent, but he needs to put it all together and the Sixers need to win.

quincey hodgeshes a good second option on a team like philly but third or below on a contending team. i cant think of any good team where i woul dtrade him for there second option…tryna think who id trade him for a third option on a good team also

whiteflashParticipantI agree. I think he has the potential to be a major contributor on a contender, he’s just not there yet. He’s gotta be only 23 or so, so he’s got a lot of time left to grow.

JNixonParticipantLou Williams is a freak athlete and has good offensive talents, but he is a HORRIBLE defender. Horrible. And like Microwave said, I believe, he negates his scoring by giving up points in bunches on D. But he’s a big talent, not really All-Star level, but still a big-time talent nonetheless.
