I’m actually very impressed with Oden in this clip. A year ago, he would have fouled Rose, likely not even done it hard enough to force the miss. He contested the dunk well. Yes, he got dunked on. But not many players in the league are as creative in the air as Rose, and that’s the best way to defend a situation like that, when the center is under the basket after a perimeter defender is beat into the lane.

Great drive and finish by Rose, but you can see that Oden just missed the block.

Rose isn’t completely back just yet though. He’s getting there. I think when he’s 100%, he’ll stop settling for as many jumpshots and we’ll see more plays like that.

Oh make no doubt about that Adi_Joseph… Oden is improving big time. He’s probably going to have a few rough games here and there, but I think he’s finally got it.

the more i watch rose the more it seems he hasnt really added much to his game from last year. even not being 100% he doesnt handle much better or see the court much better then he did last year. hes still very very good though but i dont see a big jump from last year from a skill stand point

His ankle has been alot better than people say but he’s shooting to many jumpers instead of taking it to the rim and scoring or getting fouled he could do that at will and also would create easy bucketas for his big men that dont have any offense cuz their man would have to help

Great play from Derrick and I think it’s a sign that he’s getting better now… Just a little more patience from Bulls fans and he will be back into his old form…

Greg Oden had a great game but let me poke a hole on it, it’s just one game… Let’s see if he can have a repeat performance from another team… The thing about it is that the Bulls don’t really have enough threat inside which makes it easy for LaMarcus and Greg to dominate… I want to see Greg Oden deliver a 20 and 10 game against teams like the Lakers, Magic, Celtics and Cavs… That’s the time I’ll be looking at him a little bit more… But that 24 and 12 performance against the Bulls is a start..HOPEFULLY

yeah i think it has been over blown also because hes been getting past people for awhile now. he has just been too inlove with that jumper and the spacing hasnt been the same without gordan so he cant get in the lane as easily as before
