llperezwho would you choose between these two young pg/c duos? Which duo would you want to start a franchise around?

festar35ParticipantHave to take Jennings and Bogut. I don’t like Bogut at all but Brandon would be to good to pass up.

fastdanParticipantLopez is a much better center, and generally over the past 10 years or so championship teams have top bigmen and not necessarily top pgs. Gotta go with jersey…

bkballerParticipantI take jennings/bogut jennings is going to be a much better player than harris plus harris is already 26 and injury prone. And i think some people are overrating brook because every time this seaosn he has played a real center (bogut, howard, hibbert… etc) he has put up awful numbers. you can say all you want that lopez didnt have his PG last night but he got outrebounded by bogut 11 to 4!! You need a big man that can carry you in the playoffs and be effective against the orlandos and clevelands and i dont see lopez as one of those guys.

quincey hodgeshow you figureb bkballer?…lopezhad 26 and 16 against hibbert..not too many centers play well against howard..he didnt tear it up against the bucks but as a center if you dont have a good pg to give you the ball then you arent gonna do awhole lot

NYK2010ParticipantHarris/Lopez 9 games doesn’t make a career especially when he has freedom to whatever he wants in the offense.
Lopez will probably end up being a a hands down better defender than Bogut.0 - Posted on: Thu, 11/19/2009 - 11:10am #231406

d-grizzlyParticipanti think lopez is obviously better than bogut….but I like jennings over harris….
I’ll take the jennings/bogut combo. harris is just injured too much for me to want him to be my pg. If a better bigman comes along to play with jennings, ouch to the league.

JNixonParticipantYou can’t really go wrong with either, but I’d go Jennings and Bogut.

bkballerParticipant26 and 16 yes because noone else on that team can shoot right now. You are aware that he shot 10-27 that night, for a center thats unbelievably bad, while hibbert shot 9-11 i believe. Im not saying lopez isnt a pretty good center but Bogut is actually putting up pretty much the same numbers this season, only he is shooting 56.5% while lopez is shooting 47%. Both are very young and so far this season bogut has played better. And Jennings over Harris is an easy pick harris always plays 60 games a year and is not even a real point guard but a scoring guard without much of a jump shot.

bkballerParticipantand to your not too many centers play well against howard, yes that is true but he shot 1-12 with 5 rebounds in over 30 minutes. THATS EMBARRASSING!
