JNixonParticipantI’m watching him play right now, he has 30 points against the Knicks (don’t suck your teeth, lol) AT HALFTIME!!!….and for all the love Durant and Melo get as the best “scorer’s” in basketball, I think Granger deserves every bit of that mention. He’s a PHENOMENAL shooter, he has a post game, and he creates shots off the dribble getting to the rim and pulling up. So I think Granger is a better scorer than Durant, as he has a better post game and is a better dribble drive player. Just thought I’d give y’all notice on a scorer that gets looked over time and time again. He’s unbelieveable offensively, not a weakness at all when trying to put the ball in the whole

QHaynes20He is a great scorer. I think he is the 2nd best overall SF right now.
Melo-Granger-Durant IMO.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’ve had season tickets for awhile, so I’ve seen a lot of Granger. He’s one of my favorite players. He’s a great scorer and has definitely improved since we drafted him, but IDK if he’s a better scorer than Durant. He does have a better post up game and is stronger, but Durant creates his own shot off the dribble and finishes better. Durant gets to the free-throw line a lot more too.
As far as being a better overall small forward, I think that’s debatable too. Granger definitely plays better D, but Durant is a better rebounder. Neither one of them are very good passers or create for their teammates. I think Granger is more willing to make the extra pass though.

SlimParticipantglad 2 see he’s out of his funk
how much you thing he’ll end up with?0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/18/2009 - 4:03pm #231176

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe’ll end the 3rd quarter with 31. It’s a somewhat close game, so I think he’ll end up with about 40-45.
I want to throw a shot out to Tyler Hansbrough though lol.

JNixonParticipantI think he’ll get 45 probably…because the Knicks will make adjustments somewhat to slow him, but he’s shooting out of his mind right now and adjustments will only work for so long when you can’t defend.
Q-Haynes: Thanks man! I gotcha…

JNixonParticipantI heard he’s been decent since he’s been back from injury.

IndianaBasketballParticipantGranger will end with 35. He just picked up his 5th foul.
Yea, Hansbrough has been real decent. He’s still getting in playing shape and his feet under him, but I like him. Lol he’s tough, competitive and only knows how to play hard.
Eddy Curry is playing his first game tonight.

td8118ParticipantGranger is awesome…I was thinking about putting him higher in the top 20 but hes definitely a better player than Durant right now
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/18/2009 - 4:39pm #231198

IndianaBasketballParticipantGranger just fouled out… 33 points. 3 in the 2nd half. Oh… and the Knicks now lead by 2 late in the 4th quarter.

JNixonParticipantAnd it’s over….just horrible. Granger didn’t do anything in the 2nd half…and the Pacers lost. Man.

IndianaBasketballParticipantLol wow… We lost to the KNICKS on our home floor. They ended our five game winning streak. The Knicks. Duhon, Jeffries and Eddy Curry came back and beat us. I feel ashamed.

festar35ParticipantCan’t believe we lost to the Knicks. Danny what the hell happened he only took 4 shots in the second half.

JNixonParticipantHe got into foul trouble
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/18/2009 - 5:47pm #231227

marcusfizer21ParticipantIt’s definitely embarassing to lose to a roster full of crappy players… The Knicks have loads of them…LOL
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/18/2009 - 5:55pm #231228

IndianaBasketballParticipantYea… I have a bad taste in my mouth from that one. I can’t believe we let them, of all teams, end our five game winning streak. That’s a game we have to win.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/18/2009 - 5:57pm #231230

marcusfizer21ParticipantThat’s a game you have to win… If my Bulls lose to them, I would scream the hell out of the school!
