Best rookie since Lebron? Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. I have much respect for Jennings and have for awhile but the season is still young which is why people aren’t so high on him yet. I like Jennings he is a great player and has played great so far but do not say he is doing better then Lebron his rookie season when the season just started. The 55 point game was phenomenal I know but that doesn’t prove he is better then Rose, and Westbrook and Lebron. You can’t just judge a player on how much points they score but how they help their teams win and Jennings has helped his team out a lot but like I stated the season is still young. Rose, Westbrook and Lebron are proven players already and have already had full NBA seasons under their belt, Jennings has not. I love Jennings as a player and hope he has success his whole career but please don’t make such a bold statement so soon.

he did not say he was better than lebron he said since lebron and yeah i reckon he has right to say hes better than westbrook and i go for the thunder

He’s a good player, but it was his fault they lost. He threw up a terrible shot and gave the Mavs a chance to score. He should have held onto the ball until the end of the shot-clock so that the Bucks would have had the last shot.

Rookie mistake.

But remember, it was when the coach benched him that they went on a run. He benched the entire starting lineup when they were losing by 18 points. Jennings only had 5 points at that time and didn’t come back in until they were back in the game.

Tie game twice with the game on the line and Jennings settled for the 3-point shot both times. The second time, leaving seconds on the clock, and the Bucks paid for it. Rookie mistakes, but this is why I said regardless of his talent and potential… He still has to play the game. He’s had an amazing 8 games, but he’s going to go through his lumps and bumps just like everybody else. That’s why you shouldn’t be so quick to jump and say he’s the best young point guard in the league. Let’s see a full body of work.
