I say the Bobcats, now with Jackson they have some more firepower, Larry Brown knows how to deal with AI it’ll either be a disaster or the right move to send Charlotte to the playoffs

I say Philly, the good ol days, the way is should have always been.

It still seems weird to this day seeing A.I. without any uniform other than the 76ers.

Tezo has it from what I see…those are the likely choices. Philly has already said they don’t want him

I’m pretty sure that if he doesn’t retire, he’ll sign with a playoff team OR team that has a good chance to make the playoffs. If you look at the teams that are going to make the playoffs or have a chance, Miami and Charlotte are the only two teams that make sense.

We know Miami is going to make the playoffs, plus they could use Iverson. I think he’d fit in well with those guys on South Beach.

Charlotte looks like they COULD contend for a playoff spot with the addittion of Stephen Jackson. Larry Brown knows Iverson’s game and they could use an explosive scorer.

True about Charlotte, plus they signed Flip Murray at the two. You’re right… Miami is probably the best fit.

AI should still got to Charlotte because of Larry Brown…felton, and flip…they can sit. start DJ. AI. Step Jack, G wallace, and Chandler and make this a run a gun team..Gwallace has been a monster this year…minus a few botched dunks and he can play 2,3,4. Pressure D all game long. Larry Brown knows AI and can work with him….make the bobs at least the 5 in the east if everything goes bad…Charlotte hasnt ever made the playoffs and AI could finish his career there. Great move getting rid of Radmonvic he was the worst addition since Adam morrison.

Miami can offer him the starting position he wants…But they’re playing very well without him..Chicago can use his instant offense..Charlotte coach Larry Brown loves veterans…..They might take him on..Things are boring in New York they might add him to bring some excitement to the Big Apple…I had my thoughts about Iverson going to Memphis..I was hoping he would come to his senses and realize the world doesn’t revolve around him..He has the talent to still be an allstar but not at the level of his heyday in Philly…Memphis being the only team that made him an offer..Iverson should’ve at least tried to be a good soulja..Not Quit on the team by his 3rd game…I can name 7 or 8 teams he can start on..But who wants to be changing the diaper of a 34 man? I heard some say, Coach Hollins was asked by upper management..To start Iverson at point guard by the time they came off their road trip….But Iverson wanted to start from day 1…The Grizzlies had planned to sign Tinsley to be his backup…Secretly they were trying to trade Conley to OKC for Nick Collison…I PREDICT… ARE Y’ALL READY FOR THIS?? Cleveland to be the team that signs him…They lost out on Stephen Jackson….Plus their scoring drops when NUMBER 23..No i mean the future number 6 isn’t on the floor

Guys, you have to think about Iverson’s ego when you talk about where he is going to go. The only way he will accept a bench role is if the 2 guys (PG and SG) that start over him are not only very productive, but also vets. He refuses to take a backseat role to a second or third year player. If he were to go to Miami, he wouldnt accept the role of a backup because of Chalmers. The second that Chalmers has a bad game, Iverson will start fussing about how he should start over him because he is young and plays like crap. Personally, I would like to see him go play in NO. Since Paul is hurt, Collison is going to get lots of burn but wouldnt affect Iverson. He fills a need for this team. He would be able to create his own shot. He could start along side Collison until Paul gets back. Playing with Paul would make Iverson’s job very easy. All he would have to do is make shots. He wouldnt be asked to create for anyone but himself. Paul would create open shots for everyone on the team and when it failed, call on Iverson to do what he does best. There would be no issue about him starting at the 2 because he is better than Peterson and Thornton. He would take some stress off Collison for the next month and give him a team to run for a while to get his groove back and draw fans to NO at the same time. This team would add one person and subtract one person and people would say they made a complete makeover. They could be electric once Paul returns. However, I am getting carried away with this.

That’s a great idea. Do you think Iverson would be enough to “right the ship” in the big easy?

At first glance, I wanna say no because of Iverson’s reputation. However, I dont see the harm in trying. He is already making money from the Grizz so someone could probably get him pretty cheap. He would be awarded a starting job, IMO. He could help cut back on Paul’s minutes. He could provide some wing scoring other than Paul. Its not like this team is going anywhere right now anyway. I say give it a try. If it didnt work, they could just cut him. I mean, they defiantly arent gonna win much in the month Paul is out so at least try. They could probably see if it was going to work before Paul gets back so there were no issues there. IDK if he could “right the ship” but he wont sink the ship any quicker than it already is so why not??
