I was never one of those people who thought Rubio would be better than Jennings to begin with, but this post is sort of retarted since Rubio hasn’t played in the NBA yet.

i know it’s early in the season and well, early in his career for that matter, but i think this Jennings is something special. 55 points is nothing to scoff at even if it was against the warriors. i think most of those teams picking before the bucks (namely the warriors) will regret passing on Jennings

tezo83 even though he hasn’t played a game in the league only player to score more as a rookie in a game was wilt. come on, thats pretty good. and i’m mostly talking about the scouts who talked about his intangibles and leadership. to tell you the truth, flynn might end up being a better pg than rubio.

a lot of people have compared Flynn to Chris Paul so it’s very possible he could end up being better than Rubio. not saying Flynn will be a Paul clone but Rubio hasn’t done anything yet.

Oh yea… I’m not downplaying his 55 at all. I watched the game and he was literally on fire. He hit 12 shots in a row and the only shot he missed was a 3-pointer at the end of the quarter.

It’s still only one game though and seven games into the season. We haven’t seen Rubio in the NBA yet, so we don’t know what he’s going to do. I doubt he’ll top 55 points his rookie season, but if anybody would’ve told you Jennings was going to score 55 points before the season started, you probably wouldn’t have believed them. That’s why my thinking is to wait until Rubio gets his shot in the league. He may do something none of us thought he could too.

I think if Rubio comes over and puts up a few 20 20 games his rookie year than maybe we can say that
rubio is the better point guard as far as passing but Jennings owns everything else.
