Shut up! Just give Jennings props for an amazing game tonight. The Warriors were terrible on D and Jennings caught fire. Leave it at that. No need to bring up that who’s better between he and Rose stuff. We’ve had enough of that. At the end of the day, it’s still one of seven games the Bucks have played… 75 more games to go. We need to see a body of work before we start declaring him the best point guard in the league.

Yeah, Beans thats just extreme bias or stupidity to the max. I will say that Jennings is the best player in the past draft, but have you ever seen Rose play?

Let’s not forget that Rose put up 36 versus Boston in a playoff game. After you do the math, that’s like 72 points versus the Warriors.

I think that is a tough argument but if Jennings can lead his team to the playoffs than he may be the one to get the nod since his defense is better than Rose’s right now.

I think their defense is about equal at this point. If Jennings just leads the Bucks to a .500 record, he will get consideration lol.

well I just did some math……….jennings is now averaging 25.5 ppg.

He should thank the Warriors coaching staff, Acie Law and the rest of the Warriors’ defense for helping him increase his average by five points in one game.

I’m not a huge Jennings fan, but I have to give the kid props for what he’s done in seven games. Way to bust out of the gate and bring some excitement to Milwaukee. The only thing I hate is I’ll have to read Quincey Hodge’s posts about how bad he wishes Jennings was busting in his mouth instead of out the gate.

He’s getting due credit from everyone on this site, every website, etc. Almost everyone says he’ll win rookie of the year and is basically a lock to be an elite point guard in the future. I mean, how much more credit do you want him to receive when it’s only been 8 games?

I’m more of a Rose fan, not a Bulls fan. I don’t think Rose is an elite point guard just yet… Not like he’s in the top five or anything. He has the talent and potential to be a top five point guard though. I feel the same way about Jennings.

The difference is, you have to give Rose his respect right now. He’s the reigning rookie of the year. He didn’t score 55, but he had a great rookie year and regardless of what anybody says… He played the most important position on a playoff team. He played great in the playoffs also, despite being outplayed by Rondo in a few of the games. You have to give Rose his respect right now.

Jennings is having a great start to the season and the 55 point game was amazing, but it’s still only been 8 games. If you want to say that you think Jennings has more talent than Rose and will pass him up eventually, then fine. If you want to say that he’s having a better season than Rose so far, then that’s fine. However, you can’t say after 8 games that he’s a better player than Rose. Not when Rose played great a whole season, plus in the playoffs. Jennings’ body of work isn’t big enough for you to say that yet. Jennings has been hot for 8 games, but he’s not going to shoot at this percentage the entire season. Kobe isn’t even as hot as him right now lol. That’s why I’m saying let’s see a full body of work. Talent and potential wise though… He has just as much as any point guard in the league it looks like. He still has to play the games though.
