Chicago1980ParticipantThe hawks passed on the chance to draft Paul and they took Marvin Underacheiving Williams so why would he go there.

llperezPortland has lot’s of pieces and would be able to put a good deal together without giving up roy or Oden. How about:
Lamarcus Aldridge, Andre Miller, and Rudy fernandez
for
Chris Paul
the slaries match up exactly. And before you say Portland is giving up too much, imagine pairing Paul and ROy rogether in the backcourt together for the next 6-8 years in their prime. You still have Oden down low. And with Outlaw, Webster, and Batum, that makes Fernandez kind of expandable. I think both teams would love this trade. They would be a serious title contender. New Orleans on the other hand would surley be back in the pllayoff picture and they add a leader in Miller with a wing who could flourish with minutes and another big who can play alongside West and Okafor. I know Lamarcus and west are almost clones, but they could play together I think.

NYK2010ParticipantWhy would he want to play for the Kings another losing team esp. in that trade they’ll be capped out after the picks.
How about to NJ for Devin Harris, Hassell and a 1st rounder down the road.
Philly for Louis Williams, Green, Dalembert and 1st rounder for Paul, Okafor
Houston for Brooks, Tmac, 1st rounder for Paul, Okafor
Chicago for Rose, Miller for Paul, Armstrong, Marks0 - Posted on: Thu, 11/12/2009 - 6:00pm #229268

getacombbut i dont think u guys understand how much u would have to give up. the hornets wud prolly want atleast 2 teir two or almost elite player, expiring contracts, and multiple 1st round draft picks. Nething less, well i obviously overestimated the Hornets front office

RUDEBOYAtlanta would be the perfect place..If the gm had taken Paul instead of Williams in the 2005 draft..The Hawks would be a better team..The 76’ers & Golden St have players New Orleans might be interested in….Detroit should try unloading Stuckey for Paul..They’re fools, if they think Stuckey will be the floor general and lead them to playoff victories like past Pistons Thomas ,Dumars and Billups did..

SupParticipantChris Paul is no different than Iverson or Marbury, ball dominant. He peaked skill wise 2yrs ago not to say he’s on the decline but no improvment. If he was to take his game to the next level he should try to lose the baby fat and get into pheonmonal shape, but as far as skills and manipulating refs and the rule book, he’s already peaked.

knicksfan7ParticipantI would love for him to go to the Knicks, but it would be nearly impossible. Chris Paul is a stand-up guy, so he will not make it a whole public thing about wanting to be traded. Though, I believe he wants out b/c New Orleans can’t build around him (see there cap and the contracts they’re tied into). As for who the Knicks would have to give up. Prob 2 first rounders (2011 and 2012) Wilson Chandler and/or Danilo Gallinari along with Al Harrington to matchup salaries. Very Unlikely.

QHaynes20To be Honest…the best team to deal him to is Portland. You can get back quality players and picks.
