Those who NBA Teams come
to see:

Brandon Jennings

Brandon
Jennings
(Roma) made his much awaited Euroleague debut against Alba Berlin. He held his own, making some shots in 22 minutes but wasn’t a difference maker this time. His stat line included
(3-7 from 3) (3-9 fg overall from the floor) 9 points, 0 assists, 2 rebs, 1 steal
and 1 turnover. While Europe’s style of game won’t allow him to easily showcase
himself, it will likely be a valuable learning experience for him in the long
run. He showed some promise nonetheless and clearly can play at this level.

Emir Preldzic
(Fenerbahce) could be in store for a breakout season. He started on a losing
Istanbul team
and showed his versatility during 25 minutes. He gained a lot of experience
being a vital part of the Slovenian national team over the summer and you can
tell he is motivated to make a difference this year the final year of draft
eligibility.

Luigi
Datome
had very productive and team/game high 13 points in 13 minutes, he
showed that his offence is up to date and games like that may make his coach
use him more next time around.

Zygimantas
Janavicius
(Zalgiris) gave a sizzling debut on the big stage. Kaunas
who was rattled by a financial disorder in pre-season used the "Little
Z" off the bench for 20 minutes in which he showed his talent to run the
point and even produced offensively with 7 points, quite a debut.

Milenko
Tepic
(Partizan) got a lot of minutes but was supprisingly unproductive
due to being totally off with his shot.

Sergio
Llull
(Real) filled the stat sheet nicely as he played a huge 22 minutes
displaying a presence on the court that wasn’t there last year. He has really
grown up and progressed.

Oguz
Savas
(Fenerbahce) picked up where he left off last season, bullying inside
for 11 points in solid 20+ minutes.

Aboubakar
Zaki
(Nancy)
had 2 points and 3 boards in his first game on this stage. A nice showing and
if he can add some beef to his frame, he is worth keeping an eye on.

Milos
Teodosic
(Olympiacos) got 15 minutes but seemed kind of buried by the massive
talent that Piräus has assembled this year.
He has been impressive
in other early games however.

Antoine
Diot
(LeMans) is firmly entrenched into the main rotation. He had a solid
game but with some room for improvement.

Gasper
Vidmar
(Fenerbahce) started but was pretty uneffective in 15 minutes of
action.

Vitor
Faverani
(Unicaja) in his debut received 6 minutes for Malaga,
in which he snatched up 4 rebounds.

Omri
Casspi
(Maccabi) a rather unimpressive showing for a Euroleague sophomore.
Only 5 minutes and 2 points in a close battle, not a sign of great confidence
from the coach.

Ricky
Rubio
was injured this week, and could be out for a little while.

Those who actually play for
their teams:

Jeremy
Leloup
(LeMans) earned some garbage time.

Players worthy to
keep an eye on even when not playing:

Alexey
Shved
got a DNP in a 30+ point blowout, not a good sign.

Matias
Nocedal
(TAU) earned only a DNP.

Enes
Kanter
(Fenerbahce) earned a DNP.

Jan Vesely (Partizan) born in ’91 and getting
minutes on this level is promising.

Players who are technically
eligible but won’t make a splash:

Ariel Filloy, Marko Micevic
(Milano) earned a DNP.

Enzo Zonga (LeMans) earned
a DNP.

Oskar Fassler (ALBA) DNP.

David Cournooh (Siena) earned a DNP.

Adam Lapeta (Prokom) earned
a DNP.

Saidou Njoya (Nancy) DNP.
