kingoftheplaygroundParticipantTom is doing a great job. From a recruiting standpoint, next year is supposed to be when Indiana is back in the fold as a national power but with the emergence of players like Cristian Watford and Victor Oladipo theyre already on their way. Im excited to see how this team contiues to progress this year. Im even more excited to see how good they will be next year with highly touted recruits Kevin Ferrel and Hanner Perea on the roster. Overall Tom Crean is doing a great job in Bloomington, his team is playing with a toughness that reminds you of the days Bobby Knight was coaching. Imo college basketball as a whole is a lot more interesting when Indiana is playing at a high level.

raybeasParticipantvictory is really good, this team has a long way to go. Don’t get me wrong, I love this IU team, best in yeeeeeaaaaarrrrssss. But, they need more help for Zeller inside. Watford is a 3 in a (college) 4s body. Elston too. Pritchard tries hard, but is soooooo limited talent-wise, he has regressed every year.
Next year, they have Perea coming, but he is 6’8" 210lbs. Not what I would call a banger. Jurkin is a top 150ish 7fter. Not sure you can depend on him to do anything other than mop up after Cody. Crean has always been a guard oriented recruiter. I’m not sure that will work in the Big Ten. The next class looks awesome. I hope they are just the start of the return of IU to relevance and promenance in the NCAA. Big men (6-9+) will tell the tale of whether or not they can.

LazarusMunozParticipantDont sleep on Jeremy Hollowell….has alot of Paul Pierce to his game and might end up being the best of the bunch of 2012 class
Also Remy Abell looked really good last night and should get more minutes as the season goes along…should provide more depth for the big 10 season
