I am a huge OU fan but even I have to admit they had a horrible season, and i was wrong when i predicted they would finish 3rd in the big 12. But i know the reason they struggled wasn’t lack of talent. I believe they have four future pros on their roster. What does everyone think about the futures of Tiny Gallon, Tony Crocker, Willie Warren, and Tommy mason-Griffin? Do anyone else believe these four could one day be nba players?

Well ive always liked Crocker i think he can be a decent pro. i was never really sold on Warren… he had a good season last year but he fed off Griffin lot He obviously wasn’t ready to carry a team and still isn’t.

Mason-Griffin should be a good backup point guard. I’m not as sold on him as some, as his height worries me. Still, he’s probably going to end up playing more NBA games than anyone else currently on Oklahoma.

Crocker seems like the kind of guy who plays well in the D-League and maybe gets an occasional 10-day contract.

Warren will play in the NBA. But he’d be better off waiting till next year and cleaning up his game and, more importantly, attitude.

Gallon needs to show that he’s not a huge waste of talent. He needs to legitimately stay at 270 pounds or less and work hard. Character issues will sink this kid.

how about that guarantee they’d make the tournament? jk man

I love Crocker’s game, he is the type of player I like to watch, but I agree with Adi Joseph he is a D-Leaguer or occasional call up for injury relief.

I pretty much agree with Adi, but I have my doubts whether Gallon is a pro at all, he started off the season pretty solid and his play has steadily declined, he never really stepped up when his team needed him and often looked distant and passive and took step backwards, in my opinion, this year. He could rebound and as OU brings in another good recruiting class maybe he’ll rebound, but he has only hurt his stock in 11 or 12 with his performance this season.

Tony Crocker is a decent college player, but I’d be shocked if he played in the NBA. He’s an inconsistent shooter, a relatively poor ball-handler, and he’s not all that good a perimeter defender IMO. That’s an overrated aspect of his game by some. He could be a D-Leaguer or overseas player though.

I think Mason-Griffin can be alot like Jameer Nelson. A solid shooter with good quickness and scoring skills, but is also a decent enough playmaker for others. Expect a big year from him next season and a future solid PG in the NBA.

Gallon is a player I would be scared of. He reminds me of a poor man’s Kevin Love, because he’s not the outlet passer or perimeter shooter Love is. He has the talent of a 1st rounder, but does he have the toughness and heart?

Willie Warren is going to be a beastly scorer off the bench for someone. I think he can be 1st or 2nd option scorer for someone, even off the bench. I’m big on Warren, and think he can be one of the better players in either the 2010 or 2011 classes.

Tony Crocker hasnt stood out in any area to me and is an okay college player with his bust out games but is never consistent. He does have an okay stroke but not okay enough to pass up the other available 2 gaurds in the draft. Undrafted

Mason Griffin I hope he grows an inch, there is just a glut of PG’s right now in the league. If there is weak pg draft class he will get picked up second round, but I dont think he is has the size. If this guy was six foot I would be speaking of him in mid lottery. Very skilled with the ball. Maybe with a greatly improved explosive regiment this summer he may be able to change my mind…but he is khalid el amin to me, and el amin still had more size. 2nd round undrafted

Gallon big men as usual take time to groom. He is a solid big man and he will get drafted. He showed a nice outside touch in highschool I hope this translates better to the college game once it slows down for him in his junior year (the year he should declare). He has time never will be super explosive but looking at Demarcus Cousins I think his size will mitigate some of his other deficiencies. Great foot work for his size. Mid lottery max late first round

Warren let go of himself and over dribbles to much as I did in college. Hit the cross over and go to the hole wait for the contact or go up strong and get the contact because your speed is not at a point where you will blow by everyone in the league. That being said his upside is still there for me he is taller than ben gordon but reminds me alot of him. I think Warren has the potential to be a J Terry type player or suprise us with a transformation to pg though he doesnt have russell west brook explosiveness. He is getting older and this is not good in NBA terms. Declare if your healthy cause your upside is nullified at the next level when your junior in my opinion. J Terry light but no where near the same skill set just same type of player .. late first round
