Zach Randolph
Randolph probably threw them out of synch a bit, they lost Sam Young and Bayless had a great game, I wouldn't be too worried about them.
How are Toronto fans feeling about Bayless these days? Seems to be rounding a corner with Jose out, putting up numbers and winning games.
Now that Randolph's back, the Grizzlies can get back to what makes them successful. Playing inside out between Randolph and Gasol, and not outside with Gay, Conley, Mayo, etc. Randolph and Gasol are the second best big man tandem in the league that throws the high-low pass.
As I detailed in this thread, the Grizz were able to make a huge run with Randolph out, and are now primed to make a run at the number 2 seed with him back. They can go back to feeding Randolph as their primary post option, and this opens up another dimension of their offense because both Gasol and Randolph are very good passers. As long as their perimeter players knock down their shots, they'll be fine.
The West is so deep, Denver just got deeper, cause I believe they signed Wilson Chandler, and they got even more athletic with McGee, and now can go 11 deep. SAS, LAC, and LAL are the other teams that can seriously chalange OKC, along with the Grizz and Nuggets, and teh Mavs as well, but they seem a bit too slow for now.
So good to see him back! I was expecting him to be ice cold, but he came out tonight and got 25 and 9 in 25 mins off the bench... dude is a monster. hoping the grizz can pull off a late season rally. im not sold on mike conley though. that big contract put me on the edge of my seat and i still am not relaxed about it.
