Snubs15ParticipantI agree with every pick on your list except for spurs making the finals. Id take lakers over spurs in a playoff series. As for awards i dont think i would change a thing.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantI Agree with most of your choices expect Collison and the Cavs wont be among my Biggest Disappointments…I expected the Cavs to be losers..I said they’ll be trying to hard and play together as a team and overachieve the 1st 15 games of the season. Then start losing..They dont have anyone that can create plays….Collison put up great numbers when CP3 was down..But i kept telling people he doesnt have CP3’s court vision or savvy….But i do believe he can be an All Star 1 day..Expect him to flourish, now that O’Brien gone..
Kevin Love shouldnt be Surprising he averaged 9.9 rebounds in only 28 minutes last season. So him leading the league shouldnt be a surprise, playing more minutes…..
I’m a big Lakers fan..but i think it’ll be fun to see what Buss and Kupchak would do to the roster if they fail to make the Finals…..

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThe most surprising thing about Kevin Love to me is his rebounding and his scoring. I never thought he would average 16 a game and have a 30-30 game, I knew he was a good rebounder, but 16 a game is ridiculous.. That’s the surprising part to me. And his shooting touch has been so much better. Not only that, but his consistancy, he’s been able to do it for half the season and not just the first 10-20 games. I really thought he would be a 17-11 guy, never in my life did I expect to see him getting 22-16 a game.. Heck I didn’t even expect Dwight to get that
The Cavaliers disappointed me because I truly thought they could compete for a 8-10 spot in the East.. but this.. this is just horrible.
And I actually thought Darren Collison would have the Pacers competing for the 8th spot in the East but instead, he’s averaging about 4.8 apg.

Anthony Randolph (‘s Potential)/Milwaukee Bucks (who were playing horribly even before Brandon Jennings injury)
Most Disappointing Rookie
Evan Turner
Biggest Surprise
Blake Griffin/San Antonio Spurs

BigDParticipantWho are your mid season favorites to meet in the NBA Finals?
Spurs and Celtics
…to win MVP?
Derrick Rose- clear cut at the moment, Dwight Howard is slowly rising IMO.
…to win Most Improved?
Kevin Love, 16 boards a game is just ridiculous, not matter how bad the team is.
…to win Rookie of the Year?
Blake Griffin, hopefully it becomes somewhat a contest with DMC and Wall playing well.
…to win Defensive Player of the Year?
Dwight Howard, still anchors the Magic despite becoming a superb offensive threat this season.
…to win 6th Man of the Year
Jamal Crawford again, only player close is Lamar Odom.
Biggest Disappointment
Sacramento/Washington- Future is looking bright though with DMC and Reke. i expected Washington to rise up the rankings.
Most Disappointing Rookie
Was Evan Turner, but he’s turning it around now. Derrick Favors, he hasn’t risen mid-season like they said he would.
Biggest Surprise
New Orleans being a playoff team. Oklahoma City taking a step back defensively. Blake Griffin playing like a future HOF.

Toronto16ParticipantWho are your mid season favorites to meet in the NBA Finals?
I’m still going Lakers/Celtics. Not because I think the Lakers are better than the Spurs, but because David Stern cares more about the entertainment than the purity, so he will make sure the refs don’t allow SA to get to the finals.
…to win MVP?
As of right now, Derrick Rose.
…to win Most Improved?
Dorrell Wright
…to win Rookie of the Year?
Blake Griffin
…to win Defensive Player of the Year?
Kevin Garnett
…to win 6th Man of the Year
Lamar Odom
Biggest Disappointment
Milwaukee Bucks
Most Disappointing Rookie
Evan Turner
Biggest Surprise
Landry Fields, Blake Griffin, Kevin Love

omphalosParticipantWho are your mid season favorites to meet in the NBA Finals?
Celtics and Lakers if they stay healthy
…to win MVP?
Derrick Rose (never thought I’d be typing this).
…to win Most Improved?
LaMarcus Aldridge
…to win Rookie of the Year?
Blake Griffin – obviously haha
…to win Defensive Player of the Year?
Dwight Howard
…to win 6th Man of the Year
I don’t think Lamar Odom because he flourished most as a starter when Bynum was injured… so I’ll go with JR Smith I guess.
Biggest Disappointment
Portland Trailblazers and Sacramento Kings.
Most Disappointing Rookie
Lance Stephenson; at least Evan Turner is playing, after that promising Summer League, not logging a single minute at this point is a bit of a disappointment.
Biggest Surprise
Chicago Bulls; I knew they’d be good, I didn’t think they’d be this good. New Orleans Hornets too actually, I can’t believe how well they are doing with what they’ve got.

IndianaBasketballParticipantWho are your mid season favorites to meet in the NBA Finals?
Lakers vs Celtics
…to win MVP?
LeBron James
…to win Most Improved?
I think Dwight Howard is the most improved, but he isn’t eligible for the award.
…to win Rookie of the Year?
Blake Griffin
…to win Defensive Player of the Year?
Dwight Howard
…to win 6th Man of the Year
Lamar Odom
Biggest Disappointment
Milwaukee Bucks. OJ Mayo, Chris Kaman, Greg Oden/Brandon Roy and Corey Maggette/John Salmons.
Most Disappointing Rookie
Evan Turner… I expected so much more… He was supposed to be the most "NBA ready" player in the draft and be close to being a complete player. He may not even make the rookie/soph game during All-Star weekend.
Biggest Surprise
San Antonio Spurs. I don’t think anybody predicted they’d be this good.
